Big Sid’s Happy Place Designs is BACK with lots of new designs. Tomorrow March 26th. The trend this year is BIG charcuterie or cutting boards which act as wall decor when not in use. We have 3 of these in various wood types which are statement pieces. These boards are unusual in that they combine whimsy with beauty and work in harmony with your home. Photos coming.

Well here is a unique new item from the mind and shop of Big Sid’s Happy Place Designs...made from a naturally hollowed out Gum Tree, this “Marigold Boat” planter has the bark still on it. The sides were added from a fallen Hickory tree and the feet are from the lid of an old whiskey barrel. Marigolds keep bugs and mosquitoes away so this one of a kind piece will not only add interest to your patio but comfort as well. It is $25. Come see it Saturday at the West Columbia Meeting Street Artisan Market this Saturday.

Not yo momma's chopping block. Check out this sweet solid oak kitchen island/chopping board just finished from Big Sid's Happy Place. It measures 23" x 18 1/2" square on top, stands 38" high. Screwed with no glue, all solid oak- this thing is solid. It will be a piece you will want to hand down to your family. $250
