Sam turned 1 today!!!

It’s been a crazy year, to put it lightly. Watching him grow and learn has been a truly amazing and literally life changing experience.

I don’t think anything could have ever fully prepared me to be a parent, but it is without a doubt the most amazing thing that’s ever happened to me... I mean, ahem, of course besides marrying my lovely wife who had a small, ever-so-minuscule part to play in bringing him into the world. Clearly, I did all the work.

Seriously though, it’s hard to put into words how much I love this little guy and what I wouldn’t do for him. But I’ll have time to figure all that out as we self isolate the crap out of this surreal pandemic. So here’s to Sam, a cute little bu**er, our bundle of joy, my son.

I love you Sam, Happy Birthday.

Years before 9/11, my parents were telling me about where they were the moment they heard that JFK had been shot. They recalled so many small details about their day like what they were wearing, who they were with, the sobs of those around them as more reports came in. They told me that day was forever etched in their memory.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget waking up before school hearing about explosions at the World Trade Center and hijacked planes on my radio. I’ll never forget walking into first period American Film as Mr Workman turned up the volume on the TV so my friends in the back could hear the live reports.

I’ll never forget the footage of people jumping from buildings, seeing the Pentagon in flames, watching NYPD and FDNY rush to get as many people out as they could.

I’ll never forget seeing the North Tower collapse.

I’ll never forget.

What a great weekend to gingerly step out of “retirement” for a few days at ’s Copperhead 5! Got to meet up with some old friends for really good times at one of my favorite events!

Had a chance to play Airsoft with some of the guys from today at in Phoenix! Pretty cool group of guys with some dank setups and I believe you might see some of them at 's Operation Copperhead in a month or so. I can honestly say I really REALLY wish I could be there too!!

I've been running full face masks like the Annex MI-7 from for quite a looooong while, and I probably still will from time to time, but lately I've been wanting to put together a helmet setup to use regularly and I'd like to hear what's worked out well for all of you.

Right now I'm really leaning towards something based on a Mich helmet because I like the classic look of it but I'm pretty open to setups like the one in the photo because it's pretty awesome. What are your thoughts??

My super old Tokyo Marui AK stopped working before I even started playing so I brought out an even older gun of mine, my gas blow back G***k 17 😎and boy did I have a good time
