Hi there, friends and fans. It’s time for an important update. Life threw me a curveball when I was hospitalized and diagnosed with leukemia a few months back. Since then I’ve been getting world-class medical care at the City of Hope just outside LA, and world-class love and support from my family. I’ve been pouring all my energy into healing and have had a hard time keeping up with correspondence. If you’ve called, texted or written me recently and not heard back, please know that it’s me, not you. Your notes mean the world to me, and each one is reminding me that I’m not in this fight alone. I am so grateful for you all. I’m entering an intense phase of treatment this week. Please continue to hold me in your hearts. I’m looking forward to catching up with each of you just as soon as I’m able and, in the meantime, will continue to treasure hearing from you.
