The Emmy nominated film was executive produced by Farrah Fawcett & Craig J. It was written by Fawcett and directed by Nevius.
Fan made music video of my first movie: HAPPY TOGETHER. It stars Patrick Dempsey and Helen Slater. And that's Brad Pitt next to Helen in auditorium. He plays her first discarded boyfriend. He had previously done some TV commercials and an episode of GROWING PAINS. But my first movie was also his first movie.

Looking forward to watching the tribute to the amazing Dick Van D**e (for his 98th birthday) on CBS tonight. In my first movie, HAPPY TOGETHER, I borrowed his signature song from BYE BYE BIRDIE (the Broadway musical that made him an overnight star and got him an offer to star in HEAD OF THE FAMILY which was retitled THE DICK VAN D**E SHOW). In my movie Patrick Dempsey plays a buttoned-up writer who is mistakenly assigned to the same dorm room as Helen Slater who plays a free-spirited actress. In this sequence, she helps bring him out of his shell by encouraging him to role play as if they are in a Broadway musical. The song is "Put on a Happy Face" made famous by Dick Van D**e.

Shatner is helping out the Justice League! 🚀
The Justice League meets William Shatner on new WORLD’S FINEST cover BATMAN/SUPERMAN: WORLD’S FINEST #25 will sport the latest celebrity team-up variant cover by series artist Dan Mora.
A billboard near my house: William Shatner has lent his support to Pass It On. It's a public service organization that promotes kindness. In other words, always repay an act of kindness with an act of kindness for someone else. As I've said before, he's the real deal. Very charitable both publicly and privately. Also part of this campaign are Oprah Winfrey, Elton John, Dolly Parton and Others. 🖖🏽
The "musical documentary" we did about Bill Shatner's life (as told through his music). It's. a very entertaining show if you've never seen it.
AND SPEAKING OF FARRAH, I "screened" the show for her at my house the week before it premiered on TV LAND. She loved it. Particularly Bill's positive attitude and how he embraced even the small moments in life. As his daughter and son-in-law point out in the show, he always made the family stop to appreciate a sunset. And every glass of lemonade was always the best glass of lemonade that he ever had in his life!
Even though Farrah did not know Bill (they had been introduced in passing a couple times over the years at different award shows or events), she asked me for his phone number so she could call and tell him how much she liked our show. So I gave her his office number, not sure that she would ever really use it. But she did. A few days later Farrah called Bill.
At first, Bill and his Assistant thought it might be a prank call because Farrah said that she was mad at me because she saw WILLIAM SHATNER IN CONCERT (which hadn't aired yet) and absolutely hated it!!! 😡😡😡 Bill was taken aback until Farrah explained why she hated it so much: "Because it's even better than the show I did with Craig and I thought ours was pretty great!" 😂😂😂 Bill laughed, appreciating both the call and the compliment.
As a result of Farrah's call, Bill would later call her when Comedy Central wanted her to appear on his upcoming roast (which she did). Two months later, she was diagnosed with cancer. And Bill was the very first person to send her a note of support and added that if she needed a good laugh she could always roast him again. 😂 Or words to that effect. Anyway, he had it messengered to her on the very same day that the National Enquirer outed her illness -- after they had purchased her medical information from UCLA Medical Center. Bill also lent a letter to the CA US Attorney's Office which encouraged them to prosecute any party that had invaded her medical privacy.
I knew I was very fortunate to be working with two icons who not only became my friends but were/are also very good people. ❤️❤️

This is the real Ryan O'Neal: the man Farrah had to deal with, the man three of children had to deal with and the man who threatened to murder me if I did not turn over the documentary and our company to him. He was desperate to control the narrative of Farrah's life and death in order to make himself to look better than he was. And because he could never control her while she was alive. Anyway, I think I'm done posting about him. At least for now.

This beautiful song makes me sad because Marta McBride sings about all the things that Ryan should have done and been for Farrah. As I said in my statement, he was great in the beginning. But being a hero wasn't a part of him as much as a part he was playing and one he could not sustain over time (read my statement if you want the terrible details).
Fortunately, Farrah did have many people to love her through her cancer (as the song says). People like Jim & Sophie Fawcett, Redmond O'Neal, Kate Jackson, Joan Dangerfield, Jaclyn Smith, Sylvia Dorsey, Karen Spellings, Greg Lott, Tina Sinatra, Cher, Griffin O'Neal, Tatum O'Neal, Denny Bond, Lee Majors, Michelle Lintel, Mike Pingel, Dr. Eric Esrailian (at UCLA and after she was no longer being treated there), and Sister Mary Genino.
And then there were those who were supportive from a distance: Elton John (he sent white orchids, her favorite, to my house for her), William Shatner (the very first to send a personal note by messenger on the same day the news broke in the National Enquirer), Director/Producer Jon Avnet (who led the recent contract negotiation for the DGA and supported the WGA strike on behalf of the directors) and even Howard Stern (via his satellite radio show).
I apologize if I've forgotten to mention anyone.

Ryan O'Neal's "loving" tribute to Farrah in Vanity Fair. Possibly the most offensive thing I have ever read. But it wasn't just Ryan who I found offensive. Alana Stewart makes a "pre-nup" joke about Farrah's impending death.
And again, Ryan denies that Farrah had a colostomy.
I actually knew about this piece before the interviews were conducted. And not because the writer (who is talented and well-respected) asked me to be part of it. She didn't. Even though she writes about me. Most journalists usually give the person they write about the opportunity to respond. I wonder if anyone "helped" her make that decision?
Anyway, I knew this was being planned because Lee Majors was asked to participate but declined. He became a friend after we worked together at ABC (before I ever met Farrah) and he filled me in.

Howard Stern, Robin Quivers and Tatum O'Neal speculate that Ryan was mentally ill. I believe he was as well. But his narcissism was excused, enabled and even encouraged for decades because he could be charming and funny when he wanted to be. And he was talented. Box office. A Hollywood "bad boy." Others benefitted from supporting and protecting him. Or following his orders.

"I haven't been with anyone since [Farrah]. How do you follow that girl? Well, I could be with Tatum, I guess, but it's a bit late in the game." he [Ryan] said.
And this was the man who a Group of Others eagerly helped disrespect Farrah by wrongfully taking over her cancer documentary. Then again, they didn't do it for him. They did it because they each would benefit from it.
They needed him and he needed them.

This is worth reposting given Ryan O'Neal's complete disregard and/or ignorance in terms of the millions that could have gained information and inspiration from Farrah's real/whole story. This sequence was produced solely by Farrah and myself. I filmed it (in spite of someone else's claim that she filmed everything and there was no director). It was edited by our team of four editors. Also contributing were our associate producer and composer. And it aired as follows in spite of the perjurious court filings against me that "Farrah" thought "MY" work was exploitative and not at all what she wanted. The implication was also made that "MY" cut could not be or would not be broadcast. I could go on in very specific detail but as far as the point that I'm making, I'll leave it here . . .
This is a short (but important) extract from one of the longer videos I posted several days ago. So you may have already seen it. But it's worth isolating. It's downloadable and sharable if you're so inclined.

Someone who follows this page has suggested that my posts/revelations about Ryan seem vengeful. For the record, if I wanted to be vengeful I would have revealed all this and more while Ryan was sick and dying. Tatum O’Neal has made numerous public statements over the last 5-7 years that her father was very ill and didn’t have much time left. And paparazzi pictures that others sent me certainly indicated what bad shape he was in: gaunt and hobbling with a cane. Or with a wheelchair. That’s not the man that threatened my life. Or attacked Farrah. And thats ONE of several reasons I waited until now. I have compassion for anyone who is facing their mortality. The general thought of dying can be frightening . But the knowledge that you ARE dying is even more frightening. I’ve seen people dying. And I had no wish to make a dying man face his horrible/unconscionable acts. Rather, I let Ryan leave this earth believing that the world would think of him the way he wanted: as a basically good man who shared a love story with Farrah. I could have added to his suffering but chose not to. That’s not me. Nor is it me to remain silent at the expense of my friend who he harmed in many, many ways. Including during her cancer fight. Perhaps it’s selfish of me not to let the fairytale live but that’s something I cannot live with. Nor could I have lived with the guilt of adding to a sick and dying man’s pain. Not even a man like Ryan who did enormous harm to many people (myself included).
Ryan O'Neal attempted to clean up his image by shaming his and Farrah Fawcett's son in the hijacked cancer documentary.

When Farrah died some of her friends (good people) told me that they didn't want to know what really happened. I don't blame them. I wish I had the luxury of not knowing. But I don't.
Repost for those who never saw it and might be interested: the "lost interview" (meaning it never aired) that I did with Farrah on the last night of filming for CHASING FARRAH. I think it's one of the most revealing/personal interviews that she's ever given. That may be because she didn't want it to be an interview but a conversation which is why I am on camera as well (the series included showing the reality crew as we were "chasing" Farrah). The subject is her self admitted TRUST issues with men (although at one point she acknowledges that it extends to women as well). Trust and honesty were big issues with her. And with very good reason as I saw firsthand later. .But there is also a great deal of Farrah's humor as well.
