After 4 years in the FL sun the Infiniti was loosing its gloss, so I decided to take a referral from Sean Musa and went to go see Joey Karl at Palm Beach Detailing and Ceramics

In about a month or so she will be going in for a full correction and Ceramic Coat. I thought it was ready for a paint job but with the test spot he did on my hood, it still has a lot of life left!! Better than 6k for a paint job!!

Will also be having it detailed top to bottom, wheels calipers the whole deal.

If you want detailing work this is the guy to goto

Visiting our friends at G&G Service Center in West Palm Beach, FL. Luis handles at my general maintenance on the car.

We are discharging the AC System bc tomorrow, after 4 years of running Short Ram Intakes (shown in photo), this car will FINALLY be getting a cold air setup. This car was in a minor collision before I bought it, and the lines running to the condenser were bent in such a way that it was blocking access to install the cold air tubing. I ordered the replacement OEM Condenser lines from Z1 Motorsport and will be installing everything tomorrow.

My IATs were coming in at between 120-130f degrees on hot days in traffic and not much else when cruising. The car literally falls on its face coming out of a stoplight.

The “kit” I am installing will be fabricated by me. Basically I purchased the car with these K&N Typhoon short ram intakes so that’s our starting point.

Instead of buying another $600 intake just to go cold air, I took the bumper off the car, did some measurements, and I’m going to be fabricating an extension setup/kit. Piping will be the same size as the typhoons (2.75”) all the way to behind the grille, utilizing the Typhoon kit K&N filters. It still necks down to about 2.5” at the MAF Housing.

I’m really curious to see what the difference is, if any, between say a Stillen Gen 3 Intake and this setup. Basically, we did this because #1) the piping and couplers were cheap and #2) I’m really curious to see what the difference would be between this kit and a “big name” setup.

Always looking for feedback.

Before planning out the new engine setup and exhaust upgrade, I couldn't find a video for a Z/G with ISR Longtubes, a Circuit Werks Resonated Y-Pipe, Vibrant 1792 Resonator and a NON-RESONATED ISR GT Single Exit exhaust.

I took a gamble and it sounds awesome in the mid-top range.

So we decided, what better way to use our new GoPro and refresh our video editing skills than to slap together a quick video and put it out there for reference for the next enthusiast.

Hopefully back on the road by Tuesday, time willing!

Good Morning All ~ Sandy ♥️

We’ve changed up our plans and are waiting for some parts from Z1 to get the G37 down to Opa Locka to have our new 50k longblock installed along with some additional parts we ordered from Z1 yesterday.

Kind of thankful this is happening because the garage is packed with house stuff, so the car parts are in every closet of the house, including the rear of the dining room. This isn’t even all of it.

With all the upgrades, including an engine that’s not tired, this should be a completely different animal to drive, esp once it’s on the Dyno. Goal is FBO E85.

The goal isn’t to be the fastest car, but a super reliable, everyday aggressive street car/daily driver that can click down a hole on the sways and brake pad swap and hit a track day a few times a year without thinking twice.

Note: The shoe charms are for the girl since she wants to learn how to drive on the track, so Z1 threw them in as a good luck charm for her shoe 😂

Photos from AGB Motorsport's post 10/29/2023

We’ve been going crazy doing research and starting to acquire parts for the new engine setup…

Since the focus of Roxxy 2.0 is going FBO/E85, I made a deal and acquired a Z1 Clutch & Flywheel Kit, which is good for 500ft/lb. Also paired with the midweight flywheel, as this is a streetcar and will lead to decreased Trans noise at idle, which is common when you replace the factory dual mass flywheel on these cars. And not having to rev it like your Michael Schumacher leaving a stoplight. And we’re going to be refreshing someone on how to drive stick and drive On the track, so hopefully this clutch can take the abuse she puts it thru 😂

Also picked up a set of ISR Longtube headers, which replaces the stock headers and Testpipes. I have to say I’m impressed with the build quality of these. I picked them up off FB marketplace for a good deal.

Finally, a month or so ago I picked up this Invidia Gemini Full exhaust kind of on accident. It’s everything from the headers all the way back. It’s a gorgeous exhaust and really has a nice sound to it

On that note, I’m looking to sell one of my exhaust systems.

1) ARK 1st Gen Heimholtz-style Test Pipes, with a Megan Racing 2.5” Y-Pipe and an ISR GT Single Exit. The single exit portion is approx 2 years old and a Vibrant resonator was added last year to cut down on drone/rasp. Also has a 4.5” Silencer that I bought and had a local welding shop reinforce. $750 for the whole setup. It’s currently on the car and if you want to purchase I will have it removed from the car at time of engine install.

2) The Invidia Gemini exhaust in the photo below. Its for a 370Z, but for people that don’t know all 370Z exhausts fit the G37 as it’s exactly the same chassis, just 12” longer to account for the back seats. They make 12” extension pipes for this exact reason. I’m torn between both exhausts. Retails for roughly $1200. I’m asking $750.

Shoot Tony a DM if your interested in either

Well - they say a VQ37VHR should go 200,000miles without anything major happening - so it looks like we got our moneys worth!!

After 204,375 miles, with myself being behind the wheel for 70,000 miles of them, and countless street runs, redline shifts, and just overall being DRIVEN, the VQ finally gave up the ghost….not because of anything engine wise internally, but a WATERPUMP.

For those that don’t know it’s run by the timing chain in these cars, and with this amount of mileage it’s not worth putting the money into that repair..

So we’re in the process of putting together a new engine setup -

We’ve acquired a 50k mile longblock, and will be tearing it down to inspect the timing chains, and install a Gallery Gasket Reinforcement Kit from Z1, along with a new water pump and other odds and ends.

Z1 and Jim Wolf Technology will be handling the Clutch side of things.

This is an exciting project and still developing…

The goal for this build will be 350-360WHP on E85

This isn’t meant to be a race car. This car is being built for the sole purpose of being an aggressive daily driver with the final focus being the suspension and street characteristics, but with the ability to be able to hit a few road courses a year with a few minor adjustments.

Photos from AGB Motorsport's post 10/22/2023

I can’t complain with 204k Miles and an engine that is somewhat decent, if an old coolant line goes what can you do.

We will be running under Flatbed Motorsports until further notice

10/10/2023

Roxxy 2.0 is on its way!

After 203k of solid driving and some abuse, it’s time to start fresh with a low mileage longblock and FBO - for the quest of 360WHP N/A.

We will be documenting the series to show you don’t have to spend a ton of $ to make reliable power!

I mean, it’s just a daily driver / occasional track rat…

Stay tuned!

Gotta be productive when you have the day off…took the time today to sight-in the SR9 Tac/Laser Combo and dialed in the recently installed Flat Trigger on the KelTec P-11

CVLife makes a great, inexpensive 9mm bore sighter you can get from Amazon for between $10-15

These are both personal defense pistols, I run Wi******er Defender 115gr in the KelTec and Federal HST 124 +P in the SR9

Getting ready for the track!!

Dual Catch Can Install, converting from short ram air to true cold air behind the grille, new Valve cover gaskets, PCV Valves, Fresh coils, new Ruthenium Plugs -

With the hot FL temps, this will also benefit on the street…

Back to basics - sometimes less is better. When you need space for gauges, sometimes things have to go.

Need recommendations on a good gauge line!

Looking to mount (3) 2” gauges under the radio. Oil Pressure, Oil Temp and Coolant Temp.

Currently considering Innovate and Prosport JDM Digital line - Anyone have suggestions?

Also if anyone is interested in an Eonon GA2189S head unit running Android 10 - DM me.

Had to stop at the office and unlock the building and front office door since I was off today and had some fun before leaving.

I don’t beat the s**t out of Roxxy but I sure have fun!!

It bothers me that for this phase of the project I dont have the time or resources to turn the wrenches myself. Luckily the team at Leonardi Auto Performance is moving forward and replacing the differential bushings and installing the subframe collars on Project Roxxy. If you want your Nissan/Infiniti done right these are the people to bring it to!

Looking forward to thud-less shifting and a more planted chassis!!

01/15/2023

We always keep a Hawkeye on Facebook Marketplace. Just scored these Z1 Subframe Collars for 370Z/G37 for $70 local pickup.

You can save a lot of money buying like-new used parts and pay less than 1/2 of new. These would have been $170-180 from Z1.

Next week Leonardi Auto Performance will be taking the baton and installing a Whiteline Diff Bushing Kit and these Z1 Collars. Then swaybars and we are ready for the track!

01/07/2023

Happy New Year everyone!

With the holidays behind us, it’s time to get back at it with the G37.

Phase II is currently underway (Suspension/Bushings). Currently the only thing left to do are the Differential Bushing, Subframe Collar Inserts, Swaybars and Endlinks.

Being someone who prides himself on doing his own work, I was disappointed when I realized I just don’t have dispensable time to do this portion of the build. Luckily, I am fairly close in distance to Renan Leonardi and the team at Leonardi Auto Performance & Repair.
There’s only a couple of shops I trust down here in the WPB/Pompano area, and being one of the leading Nissan/Infiniti shops, and also a friend, we know Roxxy will come out ready to brawl!

Phase III - Transmission - will also be planned in the next month. This is where things really start to get fun.

February 1st our YouTube Channel launches! I have something special in store for the launch. Stay tuned.

For the followers I do have, thank you! I haven’t been posting this channel or inviting people, not until we have some decent content up

When you swing your car by your chassis shop to test fit a part on your car, and the 911 that needs to get moved out of the way makes you feel inadequate 😂😂
