Since 1960, the Knights of Columbus throughout North America have brought silver roses on annual pilgrimages. Please join in praying to Our Lady to strengthen efforts to restore the Culture of Life in our society, from conception to natural death.
After leaving locations in Canada and New England, the Silver Rose journey goes through CT and will come to St Matthew Church for a liturgy prayer service and will be hosted by Knights of Columbus St Matthew Council 14360. All are welcome!

The Knights of Columbus and the church are celebrating Blessed Michael J. McGivney feast day on August 13th. The founder of the Knights of Columbus, Father Michael J. McGivney was a central figure in the growth of Catholicism in America, and he remains a model today. His example of charity, evangelization and empowerment of the laity continues to bear fruit and guide Knights of Columbus around the world. Blessed McGivney was beatified on October 31, 2020 and we pray for his canonization.

Today is the solemnity of the Ascension, where we remember that whilst Jesus ascended into heaven, he is still with us and walks beside us each day. He asks us to be a light in the world by living out our faith.
