Been working with Chuck for a few months now and today our goal of Push Ups off the floor was acheived!
Chuck has been committed and consistent and the results speak for themselves!
Shout out to my client Mary, with a goal to get stronger for pull ups, we threw in some rope climbs for variation!
As you can tell she loves them more than anything in the entire world πͺ

In 2 months of training he gained 10 lbs and got much stronger increasing his strength test by 10 lbs and 25 yds love it!!
Next phase will look to build up his power production to peak before the start of baseball

Trying out this new exercise in my program...
Psoas March Deadbugs
Works anti-extension core as well strengthening the psoas (hips)
β Start on your back with a plate in your hands and mini band around the feet
β In a Deadbug position with legs and arms up, extend the arms and one leg keeping the low back against the floor
β Return to the starting position imagining you are putting your ribs in your front pockets
As we grow and age it's common to lose up to 7 lbs. of muscle/decade. Our muscle tissue make-up also changes as our fast twitch (explosive) muscle fibers atrophy.
With Joanna I use Med Ball Slams as our power exercise to activate the CNS and get those fast twitch fibers firing! π₯π₯π₯
Swim Team is back! Dry land training today was total body focused on core movements.
Push Ups were one of the upper body stations, it's important for swimmers to not only have strong upper bodies but also good range of motion and stability in the scapula.

Regardless Mary kicks ass every time we work out together, some days are definitely harder than others but she gets the job done! πͺ
This circuit day included:
1) Sled Push
2) Farmer Carry
For 4 Rounds and rest in between to recover
