Don't think for one second I've forgotten about y'all. I've been working on getting lot's of things ordered and prepped so I can have things ready for Christmas.

✨️I have alot of prints ready to go on 4" circles. Any of them can be adjusted to go on a 3" circle as well.
I have a few new Christmas molds: a hot cocoa cup, a red truck with a Christmas tree, and a little debbie Christmas tree. I'm working on getting some examples of those made.
Putting a Christmas twist on some of you favorite shapes as well. I'll hopefully start getting things baking this weekend.🤞🏻

✨Today marks the anniversary of LoveYouBig being launched.✨
I'm going to be a little sappy about it and give the story behind starting this tiny business. Forgive me as I ramble.

I've always used crafting as a little escape when things are tough. This time last year, tough was an understatement. I was visiting Slade in Austin, and my phone had no service pretty much all day. US Cellular, towers down, blah blah. That evening after dinner when I finally got service again, I received the news that one of my very best friends, Macaila, had passed away that morning. I felt like I had lost a piece of myself. I had to return home from Austin the next day to go back to work and while in the car Slade and I got to talking about a new hobby for me to distract myself from the grief. He told me I should look into making car freshies, and that he thought I'd be good at it. My ADHD brain took those words to mean, "You have to start a business. Build an entire freshie empire. Do it all or do nothing at all."😂 I immediately got my phone out, found out what I needed to make freshies, and ordered everything before we even got home. I threw myself into the idea of starting a "small corporation" as I like to say. Building a business would be a great way to not let grief eat me alive. I had to start by picking a name for my business. I knew I wanted to use something that was personal and had a lot of meaning behind it. With Macaila so heavy on my heart, I landed on LoveYouBig. Every time we spoke she always told me love you big. I had picked up the expression and had been telling my nieces and nephews the same thing. It was perfect, LoveYouBig. With the name picked out, I started working on the logo and of course, Macaila came to mind again. When we were still new friends (and underage, might I add) she had gotten a tattoo of two butterflies on her wrist. The whole experience was so funny and ever since then I have associated butterflies with Macaila. When she passed away I asked her to send me butterflies to let me know she's with me, and she does all the time. Butterflies would be the perfect thing for the logo and branding. Now all I had to do was lock in my URLs and handles for social media and I was good to go. When I went to register the URLs and handles, LoveYouBig was taken. So I did what any sensible person would do, panic and ugly cry. Here I was a week of practically no sleep from working a full-time job and using all of my spare time to work on the logistics behind starting a business, and I couldn't even register my URLs and handles under the name I worked so hard to pick out. I decided to turn to my Mom's tried and true saying, "Three is the magic number." (which I'm pretty sure she stole from School House Rock). I added x3 to the end of my URL and LoveYouBigx3 became my social media handles. Thanks, Mama Pam. Good looking out.😇 Now with all the behind the scenes work done I was ready to do the fun part. I made just 7 freshies and launched this page with the high hopes people would support me, and y'all did. Eight months later Slade would pass away too, and I have felt a little lost without him. Without the encouragement of Slade, I would have never thought it was even possible for me to start a business. I would have just said I can't and left it at that. He helped me every step of the way. He dealt with my bad attitude from lack of sleep and never batted an eye about it. I am the queen of indecisiveness and he was right there helping me decide on my tagline, designs, and the colors used for all of my branding. I am so very grateful he did because now he is too ingrained into my tiny business.
This has been one of the toughest years of my life, and I wouldn't be here now, the "CEO of a small corporation" without the support of my three angels. Mom🦒, Macaila🦋, and Slade☀️ Each of them is a huge part of LoveYouBig and an even bigger part of my everyday life. I hope I'm making them proud. I did get the Boss of the Year and Employee of the Year awards at the LoveYouBig Christmas party last year. I may have been the only one there and the only one voting, but it still counts. 😉

I want to say thank you to every single person who has supported me in any way, family, friends, and strangers. I appreciate every word of encouragement, every idea that has been given to me, the support of my social media, each and every purchase, and every person who has been there for me in this wild ride of a year. I cannot say thank you enough. Maybe I should go with Mama Pam's tried and true method for this one too.

🦋I am now offer Freshie Tins for those of you who don't like things hanging from your rear view mirror. They'll easily fit in a cupholder or in the door pocket. Freshie Tins can be sat on flat surfaces without fear of damage. They're great for drawers and closets. I currently have one on my bathroom counter and it scents the entire room!
