With concern and protocol, the Girls UNITED conference is postponed.
The topics to be discussed at the conference are important to have with your daughter, niece, cousin, or loved ones. During the break, please have conversations about life - and as adults, let's listen to what children are saying as well as how they are feeling.
Be safe and stay connected. Updates will be made when they're available.
🌻POWER BREAKOUT SESSIONS:
GU! students will pick 3 sessions; one from each section. Each girl will receive a journal for note taking and "a-ha" moments!
Girls UNITED! Leadership Conference is about connecting our girls in the greater Wichita area to community leaders; creating positive partnerships, and resources for their life. GU! is a toolkit. GU! is an experience for everyone to pull together and help each other.
Our goal is to enhance self-esteem, provide career options/opportunities for girls, and prevent (or heal) mental health issues which may arise in the future. We live in a society which gives us toxic, ill advised messages about how to love ourselves.
will provide seeds of knowledge throughout the event and there are many, many, many ways you can help us flourish 🌻🌻🌻
How can you help?
💕Sponsor a student: buy a ticket (Eventbrite) and our committee will make sure your contribution allows a girl to experience the event. An email will follow your transaction letting you know what school your contribution helped (you can also specify which school you would like to sponsor in the notes)
💕Join us! Volunteer to help with registration or vendor support. Send an email to [email protected] or leave a message on this page.
💕Share this post! Each one, reach one or two...send this post to your local representatives, your neighbor, your best friend.
Let's make this an event to remember!
Have a great weekend!

We will host an emergency supply drive (personal hygiene products, household items) for IRC and the community they serve. Megan Webb educated us on the process in which their organization assists families which have left their countries looking for refuge. We make America great with help and support from one another. 🌎🇺🇲 UNITED ❤
International Rescue Committee (IRC) will have a resource table at the conference. Stop by for information about how you can make a difference in Wichita and in someone's life.
