Garden vegetables an fruits are getting planted this week! We will be selling our extras at the swap. From time to time will have some for FREE local pick up. So excited to make homemade spaghetti sauce an salsa.

We sold off the last of our flock today at the afton poultry swap. Definitely bitter sweet , but thankful to have the extra room for polish now. Did I mention we are now going to only have polish moving forward? Tolbunt polish! Black with white crested an buff polish! Super exciting!

We have 2 broody chickens already this year , but this little gal I named Marilee the first of the ducks we have raised from a baby (4 weeks old) last year has decided she wants to be a momma this year. I’ve been waiting an hoping one of them would choose to be a momma. So 28 days from now we are hoping she has a good hatch of her 17 eggs.

Went to the Afton Poultry Swap today. Sold all but 4 Muscovys an 1 male runner/mallard duck.

Had a great time! After we went to my father in laws home , which started us wanting a little farm. Picked wild onions! (Btw thanks David!! I'm so thankful you let me come an get a bunch an even went down an picked up a ton with us!!) So I'll have wild onion powder for sale next week sometime. 🙂

As most of you have seen we went through a name change “just jams & jellies” to “designs by Kayla”. I’ve decided to take another route in my life and put jams to the side. I will be picking up making jams in the summer/late summer , when I am able to get more of the fresh local fruit.

For now “designs by Kayla” can do all your vinyl needs. I can make vinyl decals, door hangers , & even wood welcome signs for your front porch. Whatever you come up with I can do, or get extremely close to. I’m so excited to start making more things for you all!
