FAQ’s:
Q: “How long will my money be tied up for?”
A: Each offering will come with a strategic plan that as the fiduciary, Stoutheart Capital will follow until the time has come for disposition. This could be anywhere from a year to 10 years. You will know upfront though. Occasionally, the market may indicate a better disposition time and in that scenario, our intent is to consult our investors for their input.
Q: “What’s the minimum investment?”
A: Anywhere from $10,000 to $75,000. Often times it depends on the property. We will soon will be offering some blind pool funds that will have $5,000 minimums. More on blind pool funds later.
Q: “Can anyone invest with you?”
A: Some offerings will only be open to accredited investors. Basically you need to have a net worth of $1mil or more and or have made $200k for the previous two consecutive years or $300k as a couple for two of the previous consecutive years. This is a a very basic explanation of an accredited investor. Many offerings will be open to the sophisticated investor, not requiring the client to be accredited. A loose interpretation of sophisticated is that you have made reasonable attempts to educate yourself regarding the investments you wish to make.
Q: “How does Stoutheart Capital ensure my money is safe?”
A: There is a universal risk that comes along with any type of investment, whether stocks, gold or real estate. The higher the risk the higher the return one would anticipate to make. As a fiduciary, Stoutheart Capital does countless hours of due diligence prior to ever offering an investment to our clients. Investments must be underwritten by every department on our team before it’s ever offered for investment. We take this very serious.
