The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, along with McConnell Airforce Base members, will be working in partnership for the Frontiers In Flight Airshow on August 24th and 25th. Due to the nature of the event the Sheriff’s Office is expecting heavy congestion due to Airshow traffic between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M . Please avoid the areas between Woodlawn and Rock Road on Pawnee, along with Pawnee and 47th Street South on Rock Road. If you are needing to travel around these areas please use Webb Road as an alternate route to drive North and South, and Harry Street to drive East and West.

For those citizens planning on attending the Airshow, please follow the directions of the digital signs located around the streets leading to the Airshow parking locations. Deputies will be present to direct traffic and address concerns of citizens. The weather is expected to be above 100 degrees and water bottles will be allowed into the Airshow. Please plan accordingly.
