Dear The Kansas City Chiefs,
These close games (especially late in the evening) are too stressful.
Love,
A teacher who should have gone to bed an hour ago
P.S. Thank you for winning.
Hi friends and family! I’m prepping for my fourth year teaching fourth grade and I would love some help stocking my classroom with essentials. My students go through dry erase markers so quick every year!
I am so excited to incorporate more projects into my math class this year to help these kiddos love math as much as I do.
Let’s go Chiefs! 🏈
Who wore it better?
The Kansas City Chiefs
2023 was my favorite year yet. So thankful for these tiny feet. ❤️
Who did the “baby bump pose” better - me or my husband? 😂
Yearbook photos are my new version of headshots. 😂 Not quite as fancy as the news.
One more day in our first week of fourth grade! ❤️
It’s that time of the year again… summer is almost over. Womp womp.
I’m so excited that I will be starting at a new school and district this year (because being pregnant wasn’t enough of a change 😝). I work really hard to make my classroom engaging and inviting for all of my students. Will you help me stock up on some supplies for my classroom?

Hi friends! 👋🏻
I shared with y’all my struggles with infertility over the past two years, so I thought that I should give a happy update: we have a baby on the way!
Thank you all so much for all of the support and encouragement. Infertility sucks, but it’s a little easier when you are surrounded by wonderful people cheering you on. ❤️
To anyone going through IVF: I’m here for you.
Year 2 of teaching is in the books! 🎉
Happy Easter, from my little family to yours!
It has been one month since Louise joined the pack! She has more than doubled in size. 😳
Zoe loves her and is teaching her how to be a good dog.

Zoe has a new best friend! Welcome to the family, Louise.
Thank you Humane Society of North Texas. ❤️
Merry Christmas, from my little family to yours. ❤️
Life update:
There were many reasons why I chose to leave TV news behind (after almost a decade!) and start a career in teaching a year and a half ago. Two big ones were that I wanted to work with kids everyday (hoping to share my love of math and science and help them to fall in love with it to) and to start a family.
Unfortunately, I was I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic o***y syndrome) a year ago. This is one of the most common causes of female infertility, affecting around one in ten women. My husband, Justin, and I have been trying to conceive for a year and a half. We have gone through lots of medications and fertility treatments, but unfortunately PCOS makes it very difficult to conceive.
I got some not so great news last week that our second IUI was unsuccessful. Our doctor is recommending IVF going forward, which is very costly. If you feel inclined to help us on this journey, we’d be forever grateful. Asking for money sucks, and we are doing everything we can to pay for it, but are feeling overwhelmed by the huge price tag that comes along with it.
If you or someone you know had PCOS, I would love to hear your story. We have been very blessed by all of the support from our friends and family and are very thankful for each and everyone of you. ❤️

I want to give a big shoutout to Dr. Lauren and the whole staff at Arlington Heights Animal Hospital for taking great care of My sidekick today! They removed a tumor from Zoe’s shoulder.
She got to take a trip to the pet store afterward and is now relaxing at home in a new shirt (to protect her stitches). I see some treats and a big nap in her future. ❤️
I made it through my first year of teaching! 🎉
