Ending a chapter is always difficult. For more than 2 decades I've enjoyed performing with the Lancaster Festival. I have decided to spend a little more time at home with Angela Cassette and my boys. I will miss the Lancaster hospitality and the great music. i have nothing but fond memories.
A little Friday fun in the trumpet studio. This is a B-flat scale using no valves. Thanks to all of those who’ve donated instruments in recent years. (Craig Bircher put us over the top with his G trumpet!)
Thrilled to announce I have been promoted to Professor of Trumpet (Full Professor) at Wichita State University. Thanks to my wife Angela Cassette for supporting me in this journey of living my dream as a player and teacher. Thank you to my colleagues at WSU and those along the way who helped prepare me for this career. Leo Tallieu, Irving Sarin, Bernard Adelstein, John Rommel, Chris Gekker, Charles Daval, David Hickman, and a slew of others!
I would also like to thank all my current and former students. Any accomplishments of mine as a teacher are a reflection of your talent, determination, and hard work.
