Old Cowtown Museum Freedom 5K Race Wichita
The Cowtown Freedom 5K Run is rustling up on Saturday, November 11th! Gather your posse for a scenic stroll/run along the Arkansas River, starting and ending here at Old Cowtown.
This is a TIMER-CERTIFIED race with some of the wildest pace runners you will see in Wichita! Each pacer represents an Old Cowtown gang. If you beat the pacer across the finish line, you're faster than an iron horse... and you'll receive a super fancy slider medal to attach to your participation award!

This #givingtuesday2022 we have set a goal of $2,500 for our volunteer program. We have over 200 great volunteers, like Wichita Red who is featured here that help to bring Cowtown to life, but it's costly. Please consider donating to help us keep history alive in 2023.

October 28 and 29 join us for a super scary Halloween experience, Echoes of Fear! For just $15/person you can enjoy 10 different scare areas (go through as many times as you want), plus live music by Pretend Friend, drinks for sale from Shaken or Stirred Bartending,and food for sale from The BOMB BBQ. See horror icons, explore our haunted attractions, and have a great time with your friends. Friday night is ages 14 and up with a parent, Saturday night is 18 and older. Must be 21 to drink. (Parental discretion is advised for those under 18 as this is an event geared toward mature audiences.) Cowtown members, teachers, and veterans get in free!
