We are now collaborating with a group called Yarn Over Beachwood (YOB). The group was established in 2009. Group members knit, crochet and loom items which are donated to a variety of organizations and projects within the Cleveland area. The group is constantly forming new relationships with different organizations and maintaining already established contacts. YOB meets the first Friday of each month from 10am to 11:30am at the Beachwood library, meeting room A. Upcoming 2024 meetings is December 6th. Receive a $10 limited time voucher for each winter coat donated. Limit 5 coats per customer. Vouchers can be used immediately or by Monday, December 2, 2024.

Yesterday, volunteers at our Community Sewing Day in Euclid made 20 dog beds, 16 tote bags, 4 baby toys and 3 burp cloths. These will be added to the blankets we collected in October for delivery to flood victims in Asheville, NC.

Shirting fabrics have a wide range of uses from quilts, stuffies, crafts, pouches, dishtowel hems, and of course, shirts.

The Fabric Stash Store will be closing early on Halloween.

From the youngest to the oldest, everyone enjoyed our fundraiser tea in the beautiful surroundings of Candoren LLC. Thank you to all the event organizers for their hard work and to the staff at Candoren Guest House for the delicious food . Of course a big Thank You goes to all our guests who supported us for our first fundraising event.

Don't despair. You can repair. Find everything you need at our Quilters & Crafters DeStash Sale on November 9 from 9-1 at Shore Cultural Centre. There is ample parking available in both the front and back lots at Shore. No admission is charged but a donation to Sew4Service or an item for the Euclid Hunger Center are welcomed. See you there.
