Renaissance Faire 2023!

5th Grade Discovery Cube Field Trip 2023!
WOW! We have some amazing field trips at Sycamore... THIS ONE! 🔥🔥 5th grade students from both campuses went to the Discovery Cube OC in Santa Ana on Thursday, March 2nd for a "World of Motion" field trip. The students had a workshop style experience about gravity, friction, potential and kinetic energy, energy transfer, Newton’s Laws of Motion and engineering design! Gold RUSH Adventure field trip 2023!
🔥🔥4th grade students from both campuses went to Riley's Farm on Thursday, February 16th, for a "Gold Rush Adventure" field trip. Throughout the day students learned about 49er life, including the feuds between the farmers and the miners and how gold was found. They got to visit the Assayers Office, Mercantile, Boarding House, as well as use sluice boxes and try gold panning. After enjoying their miner's rations, the students sold their gold and participated in a live auction!

Shark Tales 3rd Grade Field Trip 2023
SHARK! Our 3rd grade students from both campuses went to the Living Coast Discovery Center in Chula Vista on Monday, April 24th for a "Shark Tale's" field trip. Students became shark experts on local species and even got to meet a shark up close. This interactive lab taught students about the many adaptations these top predators have to survive. WATCH!

7th Grade field trip- Birch Aqaurium 2023
Our 7th graders from both campuses went on a field trip to the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla last week! They participated in a hands-on discovery lab, learning about the Leopard Sharks living off the coast of La Jolla! SUPER FUN and SO educational! The students had a BLAST and learned a LOT! 😁

8th Graders- Birch Aquarium March '23
This week our 8th graders from Chino Valley and Wildomar joined forces at the Stephen Birch Aquarium in La Jolla (San Diego area) for a day of exceptional learning. They participated in a hands-on discovery lab exploring DNA in seahorses.💥💥 What an exciting day of discovery and comradery!
