Civic Leadership Program applications will open for all freshmen and sophomores in the fall.
The Branch Out Alternative Break team that focused on food access in Lynchburg, Virginia also built community around food preparation for their meals. Wishing to cook foods from a variety of cultures, one Site Leader volunteered to make Mexican food one night and the other volunteered to make ramen. Everyone enjoyed the dishes and had multiple servings!

The Branch Out Alternative Break team that learned about nourishing food as a way of supporting people with chronic illness in partnership with Paul's Place, Moveable Feast, and Meals on Wheels in Baltimore, built community over critical reflection. Coming together after a long day of service, they discussed opportunities for change, reflected on diverse approaches to bringing people together to address pressing needs, and developed shared understanding and commitments.
Want to be part of this community endeavor? Applications for Branch Out site leaders closes this Sunday. Applications are on W&M GivePulse.
