Today’s session was all about mastering those tricky final ‘ng’ sounds while crafting sentences like ‘He is swimming in the pool.’ We had a blast making bracelets too—combining speech practice with some fine motor fun! 💬💪

Making popsicle stick cues with the speech sound cue stickers!

This speech therapy session was a fun adventure! 🌟 We searched for animals, bugs, and mini figurines in our bean sensory bin, working on multisyllabic words.🐞 🐘 We clapped out all the syllables (e.g., la-dy-bug, el-e-phant) and practiced using them in short sentences (e.g., “I found the elephant”). It was a fantastic way to make learning engaging and interactive!

This speech and language therapy session was a blast! We worked on reducing the phonological process of “stopping” with Bjorem minimal pairs cards and identifying our “long sounds” and “short sounds.” We had so much fun playing Pop the Pirate. Progress can be fun! 💪✨

Special Needs Kids program is at the Clearfield Pool on Saturdays beginning July 6! The program is held before open swim and involves socializing, swimming, splash area and outdoor play. 👋 Hey there! I'm Jillian Lenhard, a Speech-Language Pathologist and the proud owner of The Speech Path, a local pediatric private practice in Williamsville. We're embarking on an exciting journey to help develop a new standardized speech and language test, and we need YOUR help!

👶 We're on the lookout for children ages 3-7 to take part in our study. We're aiming for a diverse range of participants, so all cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds are welcome to fill out a form.
