Lifesaving News From DEFC! 💙

We here at DEFC wanted to share some lifesaving news for anyone who frequents Smith Fields and its surroundings:

There is now an AED located at our clubhouse at Smith Fields (740 Evanson Road)! ⚡️

Specifically, the AED is located in a red cabinet just outside of the garage- between Coach Tony’s door and the garage door.

Nearly 1,000 people a day are stricken with cardiac arrest in our country. They depend on YOU to take immediate action to save their lives.

Remember: CALL ➡️ PUSH ➡️ SHOCK:

2️⃣ 🖐️ Start CPR
3️⃣ ⚡️ Use the nearest AED

🌟 Skills Challenge Camp Recap 🌟

With over 80 players in attendance, our staff had a blast teaching campers a wide variety of skills from how to master dribbling to how to perfect their shots.

We are looking forward to seeing these new skills on the field!

We had an amazing time with our littlest campers this summer at MiniMites Camp!

The kiddos learned about teamwork, gained new skills and made great memories!

We can't wait to watch them grow their love of the game in years to come.

Delaware FC South hosted Concord Soccer Club for our first DEFC South match day 08.11.2024 at Cape Henlopen High School!

We had an awesome turn out with 5 age groups represented in the matches.

Games were held at the Bermuda field, Legends Stadium and Champions Stadium.

We are extremely proud and excited to have the ability to offer top soccer opportunities throughout the entire state and to be positively impacting thousands of Delaware residents!

Delaware FC kicked off the Fall season with our annual Coaches Education Workshop!

Approximately 70 staff members from across the state came together for a full day of education and training.

Led by the Delaware FC Senior Leadership Team, approximately 70 staff members from Wilmington, Middletown and Cape Henlopen spent the day engaging with each other in on field demonstrations and in classroom topics from sport psychology and current coaching methodology to structuring age specific lesson plans and training periodization.

We'd like to thank all the coaches who attended the workshop for your time, energy and passion.

Our 3500+ registered youth soccer players have grown in many ways because of YOU!

It was a fantastic week at World Cup Camp 🌎🏆 Our players had a great time stepping into the world of international soccer!
