I have always had a love for all animals since I was little and when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I’d say a veterinarian. Life had other plans and that did not happen but I have always found alternative avenues for caring for animals throughout my life. This made me laugh😂 we recently got our female golden (almost 2 & went through 2 heat cycles) spayed. The spay healing process went much easier then when our male got neutered.
Thank goodness we are done with those necessary procedure!🙌

🚨Hi everyone! Just wanted to make all Wilmington pet owners aware that the K9 flu is spreading around Wilmington and this has been confirmed by my vets office. There is a vaccine for the K9 flu but even vaccinated dogs can pick it up by sniffing behind where an infected dog has been. The K9 flu can make your pup really sick and has even taken some dogs lives.
I have made the decision to stay away from highly populated dog areas like dog parks and my vets office in order to keep my dogs healthy and safe!🚨

Today Kayla’s K9’s & Kitties hit a record day for how many animals I cared for within a 24 hour period!!😊
Today, between two of my clients houses, I took care of the following:
-1 pot belly pig
-1 parrot
-2 chickens
-11 dogs
-17 cats
3️⃣2️⃣ animals total! Huge thank you to my clients for continuing to support my small business & for trusting me with their fur babies🐱🐶🦜🐷🐔
