Anderson County Sportsman’s Club is located at 1070 Old Joe Road, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342. You do not need to be a member of ACSC to participate in the match.
Registration will be on Practiscore and will open at 8:00 PM on October 16, 2024.
Setup for the Shop With A Cop night match will begin around 1:00 PM. Any setup/breakdown help will be greatly appreciated. Registration will begin at 4:00 PM and shooting will begin just as soon as it gets dark, usually around 6:00 PM. Registration will be at Pit No. 1. The match fee is $20 (additional donations gladly accepted) with all proceeds going to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office Shop With A Cop program. The match will utilize Pits 1, 2, 3, and 4. There will be four stages. Round count has yet to be determined.
We will have the following divisions:
- White Light Pistol
- White Light Long Gun (Carbine or PCC)
- White Light Pistol and Long Gun
- Night Vision Pistol
- Night Vision Long Gun (Carbine or PCC)
- Night Vision Pistol and Long Gun
If we have a clear night with stars and/or moonlight, night vision shooters will have one stage to be shot passively. No IR lasers or IR illumination can be used. So be prepared.
You are required to have shot at least one other action shooting match prior to shooting this match. Minimum age to compete is 16.
Long guns are to be flagged with an ECI (Empty Chamber Indicator) or bagged and pistols are to be holstered or bagged prior to shooting.
Weapon mounted lights ARE REQUIRED on long guns and STRONGLY ENCOURAGED on pistols. Lasers and night vision are welcome. There will be a rules/safety briefing prior to the start of the match. All competitors will be required to wear 2 glow sticks/chem lights on their bodies (front and back) during the match for safety purposes. If you forget to bring your own glow sticks/chem lights, we will have a limited amount available for purchase. You do not need a holster that works with the weapon mounted light if shooting pistol only. Pistol only competitors will be starting from a low ready position.

As many of you know, we offer a free Friday run slot to any of our sponsors that donate at the $500 level or greater. One such sponsor is Rubber City Armory. They have graciously offer their slot to someone that has never participated in a Run N Gun before. So… if you are on our waitlist, have never participated in a Run N Gun (we trust you to be honest) and can run on Friday the 23rd. Message us on Facebook Messenger to claim your spot. First to respond gets the slot. And all that read this, go out there and thank RCA and all our sponsors for supporting our sport.

Here areJimmy Nutt's photos from the Heartbreak '23 Presented By Coda Evolution Run-N-Gun! I am sorry I couldn’t get as many competitors in the lens as I would like to. Heartbreak is challenging for photography and there were several factors this year that made it more difficult for me.
Note - These photos are best accessed and downloaded either through the FLICKR App on mobile devices or on the FLICKR website on a computer (not so much on mobile device websites).

Asbury University is in the midst of what many are calling a revival. It should not have too much impact on our early morning arrivals and afternoon/evening departures. The Y intersection north of town was closed down to non-residents this past weekend. If that happens again the blue and yellow highlights are alternate options. Asbury and Wilmore are doing a decent job keeping updates here:
