Joe Viglione had recorded Mr. Curt Naihersey and Jon Felice at the Rat Dec 4, 1974 performing the song as The Kids, before they became The Real Kids. I think Felice played another Modern Lovers song that night as well. We practiced in the band Boston's practice room at the Cambridge Music Complex owned by Jack Griffin of Jack and the Rippers.
