-Make sure you and your parents are able to access Stack Team App for updates about any changes due to weather. Download the app, log in, and search for “BASA Cross Country”

Compete Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy results from the final heats of the 2024 GHSA 1A-1 State Meet in Rome.

Jacob Carruthers earns two more golds at the 1A-1 state championship, closing out an incredible weekend for the Blazers track squad.

This freshman is fast! Akira Medlock takes fourth place in the 400 m dash at the 1A-1 Track State Championship!

Aaliyah finishes 7th in 100m dash at the 1A-1 State Championship!

The girls claim their spot on the podium and beat their own school record in the 4X800 with a BLAZING 10:43.14!

Jacob qualifies for the final heat's in both the 400m dash and the 200m dash! He runs at 3:20pm AND 4:50pm tomorrow for his spots on the podium!

Akira is IN!

She qualified for the final heat of the girls 400m dash with a BLAZING 59.43! She will run again tomorrow at 3:20pm

Aaliyah is IN!

She threw down a BLAZING 12.4 (shattering her one school record) to make the Final Heat of the 100m dash tomorrow at 1:40pm!

Congrats to Jacob, Bailey, and Michael for three strong performances at the 1A-1 State Meet! Stay tuned tomorrow for qualifying heats in the sprints.

It was a long day at the sectional meet, but we got the job done.

The Blazers will be represented by NINE total athletes at the GHSA State Meet next Thursday through Saturday in Rome, Georgia!

Both the Blazers girls and boys 4x800M teams qualify for the 1A-1 sectional meet on May 4th!

After the 1600m run final we have four more Blazers that have punched their tickets to the sectional meet May 4th!

Three Blazers finished in the top four in the field events today and punched their ticket to the sectional meet next Saturday!

Jacob Caruthers is the region champion in the boys high jump, and Aaliyah Simmonds and Bailey Wise finished third and fourth in the girls high jump.
