ngagement story ahead!!!

Will and I got engaged during the height of Covid in 2020. Will had been planning an extravagant proposal in Colorado on our family trip but Covid rocked our world and changed his plans.
After weeks of stressing and asking my friends and family what to do he finally came up with the perfect plan.
Will had planned for us to go to a “fancy” dinner with my sister and her hubby. Everyone played along and we got ready, put on our fancy clothes, and headed to their house. We pull up to their house and they have all of the tiki torches lit in their backyard, which I thought was odd since we were picking them up. We walk towards the backward and Will takes me to a box in the middle of the grass (a ring box he hand made by the way!!).
From that moment on I knew what was about to happen! The biggest surprise of all was my friends and family were there hiding inside to celebrate with us after 💗

Fast forward to July 3rd, 2021: Our wedding day! Will and I just celebrated our one year anniversary 🤩

One of the most exciting parts of wedding planning was picking out all the outfits!! We cannot wait to share this collection 💍👰‍♀️

In honor of our ~bridal collection~ launching on Monday we thought it would be fun to share a little bit of our engagement/bridal stories with all of you!! And of course I don’t need ANY excuse to tell mine and Clint’s engagement story because I’m just obsessed so here it goes: I thought that I was the best girlfriend ever throwing Clint a surprise birthday party with both of our families AND coordinating a surprise helicopter ride. Little did I know, he put my mom to work and had her encourage me to do both the helicopter ride and the surprise party (sneaky, sneaky). So the day comes for the party, it’s also Clint’s birthday, so I take him to breakfast after my nieces volleyball game. He starts to act suuuuuuper weird after breakfast and keeps telling me he ate something bad. We then arrive at my parents a few hours later and he is a TERRIBLE actor and was being super weird but I just thought that he was overwhelmed by the surprise party (lol). He also kept running off to the bathroom so I figured maybe he really DID eat something bad at breakfast 😂 we’re hanging out at my moms for about an hour before we have to go to the neighbors house for the helicopter ride. Once we start walking over Clint keeps saying all these really sweet things to me and I’m thinking “wow I really AM a good girlfriend he’s so happy about this surprise” (lol again). Once we’re up in the helicopter, we fly around for a little while and I’m so mesmerized by how pretty everything is from so high that I don’t notice clint take a ring out of his pocket and PROPOSE TO ME I WAS SO EXCITED!!!! Pretty sure my first response was “WHAT?!?!” But I’m so happy that *eventually after he prompted me to actually answer the question* I said yes to marry this man because he is the sweetest ever and I just know a life with him will be the most fun!!! 🥰

Cheers to all of you, who I’m sure are wedding planning superheroes 🥂Starting this Wednesday off I’m in good spirits because I am loving hearing from you all about the excitement with our new launch!! We have both been in so many weddings, attended so many, and have three (including my own) in the next couple of months so when I say that we understand the stress of finding those outfits for rehearsal dinners and wedding guest dresses and everything in between, we REALLY understand it. Our hope is that we can provide you all with affordable and ~very cute~ outfits to wear to your very own bridal showers, or to any wedding that you’re a guest of that’s coming up. Wedding season is in full swing and Aster Rose will help with allllll your wedding outfit needs. Wedding season is quickly approaching for the Aster Rose gals! Summer and Fall are two of the hottest seasons for weddings. Believe us, we know.

Combined we have about 6 weddings we’re going to attend or are bridesmaids in before December is over, how crazy! If you didn’t already know, our amazing co-owner is getting married this year! So naturally, we had to create a bridal line for all of your pre nuptial needs 👰‍♀️

We are so excited to share these pieces and we hope that all brides and all future brides will find something they need for every wedding festivity 💐💍

I am feeling SO GRATEFUL. My longest, sweetest, bestest friend threw me the most amazing bridal shower ever yesterday. I am so thankful for all the amazing women in my life and I am so glad I got to celebrate becoming Mrs. Tyler with my nearest and dearest! Love these people endlessly. 171 days to go!!!

Wanted to show off this monochromatic neutral tone fit I wore today. There’s something about putting on a great pair of cropped pants and having yourself a day!

Got my nails done with my mom and spoiled myself to some home decor treats like this pampas grass I am loving.

Neutrals really seemed to make their debut in 2021 but I’m thinking this is going to be a year round trend for sure. Where are all my neutral girlies out there!?! What’s your favorite summer ‘22 trend?

In other very exciting news, it looks like a very exciting shipment of very cute clothes has been delivered so stay on the lookout in the coming weeks for our first launch!!! In the meantime, I’ll be spending my week at the beach relaxing and reading and shopping for future launches!!

HAPPY FRIYAY EVERYBODY 🌸

The clouds are gone the suns out and it’s Friday which means it’s Date Night for me tonight!! Trying to change it up from my usual ~athleisure~ look this evening and these are my options. Fully inspired by our summer color palette of course. I started out with the hot pink/jeans combo because we were planning on going to a new restaurant but if you know me you know I’m really just gonna end up at tonight with a Marg in hand. Who’s with me?!?!? Luckily for me all of these fits work perfectly, all three are casual but can be dressed up too (I.e. the white strappy heels in the first outfit). I loooove a look that can be both casual and dressy when it needs to be. Either way, I am ready to kick off the weekend and I would love to see which outfit is your fav!! You never know, it might even inspire some new items for our first launch? 😉
