Welcome to Summertime at My Kids Academy! We are excited to bring back our Splash Pad fun, starting next week on June 3rd. Parents, please have your children ready in their swim attire and sunscreen applied on their designated Splash Pad days. Here’s what your child will need:
- Swimsuit
- Towel
- WATER SHOES only (no Crocs or flip flops). Your child will not be able to participate without water shoes.
- All items must be labeled with your child’s name.
- Please pack their swim gear in a bag.
- For children in diapers, please ensure they are wearing swim diapers.

Preschool Teacher (Lead / Assistant)
Preschool Academy has an immediate opening for a Lead and Assistant Teacher to join our team.
Must be energetic, a team player, and maintain a positive attitude. Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency. Previous experience is preferred.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Supervise children at all times maintaining a secure, safe environment for children to play and learn in.
Attend ongoing training to keep education and regulations up to date.
Implement and create lesson plans based on a monthly theme.
Complete necessary classroom reports.
Follow the center’s policies, procedures, and regulations as well as those from DCF.

Required Experience and Skills:

Early childhood classroom teaching experience (Desirable).
Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
Must be a team player, able to adapt to continuously changing, fast-paced environment and make the children need the primary focus.
Have a love for children and a strong desire to make a difference

Required Education/Certifications:

High School Diploma
Staff Credential required for the Lead Teacher position
45 DCF Hours preferred
CPR and First Aid (can be obtained during job training)
