Tightened up the pig pen tonight and freshened bedding. Watched as the herding dog crew effortlessly got the Mama Pig back into her pen when she got out during our pen repair.
They really are amazing.
Kids too!
Welcome November …
🍂💫
These wild busy weeks!
❤️
My birthday is on Saturday……
Sometimes the littlest gifts can be the absolute most magical! ❤️🥹😭
Fall is wonderful.. ✨
If you’re paying attention to the news right now it’s of the utmost importance- our kids worry a bit less about algebra and more about being able to survive in trying times.
Raising and growing your own food. Self protection, foraging, survival skills, hunting, common sense practices.
We’ve been out doing some leaf ID, foraging, etc and doing fun crafts over the past 2 days for school. The kids are loving it.
Busy busy weeks!
Garden is still going strong!! Flowers are growing beautifully still. Friends are visiting, football and field trials are active, we’re making homemade cider and crafts and it’s a wonderful season.
Happy October all! 🍁
(We have piglets for s*le in just 3wks! Pm us to reserve yours! Tamworth x AGH)
“Something told the wild geese
It was time to go.
Though the fields lay golden
Something whispered,—‘Snow.’
Leaves were green and stirring,
Berries, luster-glossed,
But beneath warm feathers
Something cautioned,—‘Frost.’
All the sagging orchards
Steamed with amber spice,
But each wild breast stiffened
At remembered ice.
Something told the wild geese
It was time to fly,—
Summer sun was on their wings,
Winter in their cry.”

The amount of neighbors and local friends that have stopped by our tiny farm stand the past few days and given wonderful compliments- gives us so much hope!
We’ll hope to build a better little set up to be able to keep seasonal items out yearly.
We ask that everyone be respectful of the honor system as we did have some flower jars taken yesterday without payment left. We believe in the good of humans still so let’s keep it that way! 🙂 Happy Thursday!
