What a successful Rhoer year we had and it was nice to close out the year with our big sisters of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.-Alpha Mu Sigma Chapter at the summer picnic! Our graduating Rhoer Janae Belton-Evans received a $500 scholarship from the ladies of Alpha Mu Sigma paired with beautiful words of encouragement as she heads off to college at NC State this fall! Job well done to all of our Rhoers this year! Congratulations and best wishes to all of the class of 2024 graduates!

🦋💛The Rhoers had such a fun filled weekend! We kicked off the weekend on Friday night at Dave and Busters Winston Salem enjoying good conversations, dinner and game play together. On Saturday, we participated in community service by joining Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.-Alpha Mu Sigma Chapter for Adopt-a-Highway street cleaning on Waughtown Road! Lastly, we ended our weekend at Union Baptist Church where we celebrated with NPHC.

The Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. - Alpha Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter dedicated over 400 hours of community service last year to their cause. They have volunteered at multiple notable institutions such as the Hope of Winston Salem, SECU Family House, Second Harvest Food Bank, Ken Carlson Boys and Girls Club, March of Dimes, and even participate in the Adopt a Highway program. Through their selflessness and involvement in their community, they support several causes with an unwavering commitment to volunteerism.

April is Month of the Military Child. There are 1.6 million military children who face many challenges and unique experiences as a result of their parent's military service. While service members serve around the world, we often forget the challenges of frequent moves and family separations faced by their children. We appreciate and honor military children for their unwavering support and sacrifices.
