This is a painting of one of my favorite photos of my four dogs waiting for a treat offered by a friend. All are now gone except Kiwi on the right.

My second needle felted cat. This was done as a commission and l found it challenging, especially keeping the black wool out of the white wool and visa versa. 😵‍💫

I’ve been doing a lot of needle felting lately. This is my first cat. It took awhile but l am pleased with it in the end.

Three months ago l had to send my beautiful blue Merle sheltie to the bridge. He was my special boy and l miss his presence. Yesterday was my birthday and l completed a gift to myself; a needle felted version of my boy! I included a chunk of his white fur into the ruff area. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

I have been painting Memorial pet portraits for over 20 years but now l understand how special it is to have a portrait of your own. I rendered this acrylic painting of my own dog “Brit” who passed yesterday. He was young and vibrant at the time l did the painting.

I was commissioned to paint this memorial portrait by a former customer. It was a lot of fun for me; especially since l never thought l would be painting again a few years back.

11X14 acrylic portrait on canvas. This is "Ivy" and she has the most beautiful eyes. The client provided an excellent photo for me to work from.
