Had to take the back off to re-glue and re-shape the bracing in this late 60's Harmony parlor guitar.

Well we've made the move to NC. The shop is nowhere near finished, and barely even usable at the moment, but I wanted to let you know that I'm still alive and show you something I'm working on. It's a 1965 Airline parlor guitar that was made for Montgomery Ward in the Harmony factory in Chicago.

We got this in the shop today. A 2020 Epiphone Les Paul 59 Standard with hard case. Mint condition and plays amazing. Gibson USA pickups, long neck tenon, and amazing feel.

This is a highlight in the Squier lineup. 24 frets, a Floyd Rose trem with a brass block. It has a reverse headstock, blacked out hardware, and hot pickups. This guitar just screams metal, but also has the subtlety for other styles. Reverb.com/shop/mattsmusicexchange

After reshaping and regluing every single brace, the back is ready to go back on. What fun!

Had to do a bit of surgery on this guitar today. I had to take the back off to be able to clamp it all up. The glue was so cracked and brittle, all if the bracings needed to be re- glued. I'll take it back to where it needs to be.

Wow. What a treat. We have in the shop today a 1969 Silvertone 319 flat top. It needs some work but Wow! Remarkable condition for 52 years old.
