Today I caught the eclipse from Winston-Salem, NC, and it was magical! 🌒 Couldn’t help but channel my inner Taylor Swift ‘Anti-Hero’ for a sec and almost made the classic mistake of staring directly at the sun. 😂 But don’t worry, I threw on my eclipse glasses from #2017 (do they expire?) faster than a Swiftie downloads a surprise song drop. Remember, folks, even when you’re feeling like the problem, it’s never a good idea to look directly at the sun! 🌞
Such an awesome experience at the Triological Society meeting in Palm Beach! Engaging discussions, brilliant minds, and unforgettable moments. I will always remember this year as I was proposed for my Thesis. Already looking forward to the next one! 🌴👥
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night (on call)!

to just last week where the chairman Dr. Dale Browne introduced our awesome specialty to interested first and second year medical students in the beautiful flat classroom at Wake Downtown. As the Oto Interest Group Sponsor, it’s always one of my favorite events of the year. I love sharing my enthusiasm about our specialty that few students know about early on in training. We had a great turnout! If you have any questions about Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery feel free to reach out and if you are an interested student come to our virtual open house tonight! Check out for more details!

It’s that time of year again…my preschooler is carrying home all the upper respiratory bugs to me so I reach for an ultrasonic nebulizer to sooth my dysfunctional larynx.
