C. Eyewear is looking for just the right person to join our team as a full-time Optician's Apprentice! This position allows for plenty of room for growth, with all training and education provided by us.

If you don't already have experience in the optical field, we will teach you everything you need to know to be an expert Spectacle Stylist. That includes selecting and fitting the best frame styles, shapes, materials, and colors based on the patient's face shape, complexion, hair color, hair style, personal image, and many other factors. You would also learn about lens and optical science and how the correct lens choice and fit can make all the difference in a patient's vision.

The perfect fit for us is a trainable individual with a passion for helping others. We are looking for a confident person with an understanding of and appreciation for high fashion. Our practice is quite busy, so we need someone who is high-energy, upbeat, and hard-working. It is necessary that you have a positive, can-do, find a way approach to your day; there's simply no room for negative or pessimistic energy and language in our practice. We are a close knit group who depends on each other for our overall success, so it's important that you are a good and clear communicator who is action-oriented and willing to take on challenges. Creativity and ability to think-outside-the-box is a plus. We would love to find someone who enjoys setting and achieving goals, for themselves and for the business as a whole.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Work with customers to assess and educate them on their eyewear needs.
-Engage and create unique, personalized experiences with each customer.
-Inspect glasses, take optical measurements and problem solve optical issues.
-Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
-Keep up to date on current fashion and eyewear trends.
-Promote and exemplify an energetic yet professional environment.
-Exhibit sound judgment, problem solving and decision making
-Have attention to fine detail
-Exhibit organizational and time management skills
-Other responsibilities as determined by management
