Ms. Katie is a talented tap dancer from Minneapolis with extensive training from Ellen Keane and Cathy (Keane) Wind, starting at age 7 and continuing until she was 18. She performed with the Keane Sense of Rhythm's Youth Tap Ensemble for four years and studied under renowned tap artists such as Lady Di, Chloe Arnold, and Lane Alexander. Since 2018, Katie has been sharing her passion for tap as a dedicated instructor at Juxtaposition Fine Arts. Choreography by Anthony Morigerato with Operation Tap. We are offering a Grown-up & ME Weekly Class--Mondays 9:30-10:30AM We help children explore the wonderful world of movement through creative role playing, basic movement, improvisation and music -- all things children naturally do. We teach children to love and appreciate the arts at their own age-appropriate level and pace while including exciting themes within our curriculum. Grown-Up & Me class consists of creative movement, music & rhythm, gross motor skill development all while creating a safe space for social emotional development.
