It is with great enthusiasm and pride that I present to you this special edition celebrating the Fifth Anniversary of ¡Viva Polk!, your Spanish-language magazine. Five years of stories, accomplishments, and continued support from our community, both Hispanic and English speaking communities. This milestone fills us with gratitude and excitement.

And what better theme for this edition than the area honored in our name: ¡Viva Polk!, the county that welcomed us with the friendliness of its people, its rich history, and lush landscapes. It is an area where we experience a blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, art, and exciting adventures. Each city and town in Polk County is characterized by its local charm and scenery.

Polk County's ideal location in Central Florida attracts thousands of people daily, making it the fastest-growing area in the country.

Now, let me ask you: Do you know Polk County? Many times, the routine of everyday life overwhelms us and deprives us of appreciating and enjoying the treasures that surround us.
I urge you to take the time to discover it!
