🌹✨️ COLOR MELT!!!! ✨️🌹

THIS HUMAN BEING WAS SUCH A JOY TO WORK WITH!! ❤️ When I tell you, one of my FAVORITE CLIENTS, I really mean it! I could do her hair all day! Wonderful person. Just sweet as could be and a beautiful personality. Funny and bubbly. She sat in that chair for seven hours while I worked on her. We went through a whole journey together during this color melt.

1st photo shows her hair naturally before I touch it at all!
2nd picture shows the 1st balayage that we did. She lifted perfectly and I though it would be perfect for her ends and money piece.

HOWEVER, we both didnt expect that when I added the red tones to her hair that the ends would soak up that color like a sponge! So her ends went darker than we both had expect and her money piece blended in too much. 😱 It would have been beautiful for someone else, but this client likes to be a lil more bold with her colors. The color melt had just become too blended, and we wanted those ends and money piece to POP! 😘✨️

Final photos show the money piece and ends being brightened up and this was our second balayage. Her ends and money piece were the perfect shade now!

I love how goofy she was for our photo shoot too. Really character this one. 🤣 She was a joy to have in my chair and I cannot wait to see her again. ✨️🌹

This client had a lot of inconsistant highlights; patches, holes, bleeders, Irregular hieghts in the highlights (some not going all the way up). This was a project to get her to a spot where I felt better about her results.

However, she still wasnt happy. I cant please everyone, even when I really try to. She felt she had left darker, than how she had came in. An she felt I had given her those bleeders, even when we had talked about before how she had these inconsistantcies to her highlights.

What do you guys think? Did I do all I could to fix her hair? Did she leave darker than how she came in?

Honestly, in the end I really did put in a lot of effort. I felt like I had really tried to make it right, but she still just didnt like it.

Side note, the 3rd picture is what her hair color really looked like. The photos following the 3rd picture were all taken in the retail area when it was dark out. So there was not the best lighting.

She loves being blonde and her roots grew out a bit more than she wanted. So it was time to get those roots in order. We went icy with her toner and now she is an ICE QUEEN! ❄️👸👑

The practice on Ned, before hand, was perfect for this service! This guest really wanted to have her grays blended and to have a low maintance hair style. She can easily blow dry this and run her fingers through it before running to an important meeting. I love all the layers and texture I was able to add as well! Turned out perfect!! 🌹✨️🫠🥰

Mini s**g. We were learning how to do a s**g and the manniquin I borrowed to do it on had REALLY short hair. So I tried doing a very short version of it. I think it turned out pretty good.

NOW... Not much scares me in the time Ive been in school. I feel like I have seen a lot of things. HOWEVER... THIS SCARED ME! These highlights were not done by me and this really freaked me out with how uneven and overprocessed they were. Mind you these were done at a professional salon, NOT by a student she told me.

I ended up putting a toner over her that made her very coppery and she liked it. This helped to fill her hair and give her a more even tone than this crazy mess.

She came back to me with her toner COMPLETELY washed out!! So I went in with permanent color to give her the red highlights she loves so much forever!
