Lace up those skates: The rink at M Health Fairview Sports Center was able to reopen over the weekend! ⛸
The rink is open:

🧊Sunday-Tuesday + Thursday: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
🧊Wednesday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
🧊Friday-Saturday: 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

The outdoor rink is free! Skate rental and skate sharpening is availavle for $6 per pair.

Due to the warmer weather, the outdoor ice rink at M Health Fairview Sports Center will be closed until further notice.

The rink will reopen once we get a stretch of chillier weather ❄🥶

Based on the current forecast of cooler weather, the outdoor pleasure skating rink will tentatively open at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

The opening of the outdoor rink is the same evening we host Santa and the Coca-Cola Caravan from 6-9 p.m. We hope you can join us for the free festivities which include a winter apparel drive in partnership with SouthWashCo Cares. Please consider donating a new or like-new coat, snowpants, hat and/or gloves to help ensure all South Washington County students have something warm to wear this winter.

Come check out the Coca-Cola tractor trailer decorated in festive holiday lights and meet Santa Claus Wednesday, Nov. 29, at M Health Fairview Sports Center.

The event – scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. – is part of the annual Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan and is free and open to the public. The festivities will take place in the east parking lot of the sports center near the outdoor skating rink, which will be open for free skating should conditions allow for ice to be made in the next few weeks.

Bring winter clothing donations! 🧤🧥🧣
Be sure to support SouthWashCo CARES’ winter clothing drive, who will be collecting winter coats, boats, hats and mittens at the event to support students within the South Washington School District. Those making the first 100 donations will receive a small Coca-Cola trademarked polar bear. In addition, Coca-Cola has generously offered to support the collection event by matching each donated coat with the purchase of a new item up to a total donation of $5,000.

We are SO EXCITED for the Fourth of July next week! 😆

The Fourth of July Hometown Celebration starts with live music at 5:30 p.m. with Jesse Totushek, followed by Maiden Dixie from 7-10 p.m. The Kids' Zone and food trucks will open at 6 p.m., and the fireworks display kicks off at 10 p.m.

Before heading to M Health Fairview Sports Center for the Fourth of July Hometown Celebration this Tuesday, July 4, review the event traffic flow map. As this is one of the largest events in the city, exiting the parking lots after the event is expected to take some time. Our Public Safety team will be on site helping traffic flow out of the lots; please be patient for the safety of everyone attending.

The splash pad at M Health Fairview Sports Center is officially open for the season! The feature, located adjacent to Madison's Place Playground, operates daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Due to the recent rain event and mild temperatures creating unsafe skating conditions, the outdoor rink at M Health Fairview Sports Center is closed for the season.

Due to the inclement weather, the outdoor ice rink is closed today, Monday, Feb. 27. For updates, call the weather line at 651-714-3569.

In-person services will not be available at many City of Woodbury, MN - Government facilities tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 23, in an effort to keep as many motorists off the roadways as possible.

Below is a list of city facilities and the ways they will be serving the community Thursday, Feb. 23:

Central Park/R.H. Stafford Library – Closed to in-person traffic.

City Hall – Closed to in-person traffic. Staff will be available remotely to answer calls and emails. Building inspections staff will not be conducting inspections.

M Health Fairview Sports Center – All open programming is canceled. Open for pre-scheduled rentals only. Call 651-714-3569 or contact your organization for updated cancellations. Limited staff will be available to answer calls and emails.

Woodbury, MN Police Fire EMS – Closed to in-person traffic. Staff will be available remotely to answer calls and emails. As always, call 911 for emergency response.

Public Works – Closed to in-person traffic. Staff will be available remotely to answer calls and emails.

Due to the predicted snow, the sports center will be closed the morning of Thursday, Feb. 23. Current plans are to open at noon, but this is subject to change. There will be no open programs held on Thursday including open walk/run, freestyle, and stick and puck.

In addition, staff recommends those planning to attend an open program on Friday, Feb. 24, should call ahead to check the status of the facility at 651-714-3740.

The outdoor rink will be closed starting the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 22, and will reopen once snow removal has been completed.

Due to yesterday’s rain, all outdoor ice rinks, including the outdoor refrigerated rink at M Health Fairview Sports Center, and warming houses are closed today, Wednesday, Feb. 15.
