A great wrap up to camp week. We are so grateful for the children, the parents, horses, volunteers and, our instructor, who made it all possible!
Tobi had his spa day today at camp with a bee blanket and great dental work provided by Upstate Equine Mobile Vet and Dentistry Services with the best of the best vet Dr. Katie Amsler Ackley and dentist Breanna Angleberger. The kids even got to see a piece of a wolf tooth removed (upper left of the inside mouth picture) Gwen Lindsey your baby is loved.
Meet Tobi
Bethany Murray you were correct! Our new therapy angel is cremello! Meet Tobi! Tobi is a stand up guy with an amazing owner! He's had a few injuries in the past so we will make sure to take it slow with him as we introduce him to his dream job- being loved on! Tobi - his name is Indian slang for honest white man will join us next week! As you come to the farm please give him scratches and cuddles as we introduce him to the program! He won't be ridden for 6-8 weeks depending on how he adapts but we are so excited for him! Over those 6-8 weeks he will build up to work, have acupuncture, and cold hosing (his own spa!) He has an amazing will to live and will never want for anything g while he is here.
