Preparation for the coming week involves picking up food donations. Today we thank our volunteers, Terrence and Starla Brown Wilson and sons Brayden and Ronan for picking up at Food Lion. Picking up at Publix were Jason and Casie Westmoreland Foster. We are very grateful for these volunteers as well as the two grocery stores who support us.
What a great Monday at the Soup Kitchen! Thank you Sergio from Conner Flynn’s Public House for preparing and serving a delicious meal and to Katherine and Korey for providing assistance and managing the dining area. As always, thanks to Publix of Duncan for their generous bakery donations this morning!

Is it Thanksgiving yet??? Sergio Briceno, Charles Wall and Jeff Slater were our chefs yesterday at the Soup Kitchen. They prepared a beautiful “thanksgiving” meal in May and our patrons enjoyed every bite!😋 These guys from Conner Flynn’s Public House and Maverick Biscuit are so kind to share their cooking skills and love of helping others with us every Monday!❤️
The Conner Flynn’s chefs (Sergio and Charles) have started the week off with a delicious meal for our patrons: green beans, black and sweet corn, coconut rice, brown sugar glazed yams with baked cajun salmon and strawberry cake!😋 Thank you both for the part you play in providing meals for those in need!❤️
