USA Topflight Final Four
Not the outcome we wanted (2-2, 17RS, 14RA) but a lot of positives and some areas to work on from our first tournament of the spring.
Base running was aggressive and 🏃♀️🔥 💨
Energy was ⚡️
Pitchers were 💪 with 13 SO
Outfield was 🔒0 errors
Bats started slow but heated up team .345 avg
infield was ⬆️ & ⬇️ with 10 errors.
Time to grind and improve for our next tournament.

One of our pitchers Harper Griffin volunteering her time to teach a group of aspiring 10u pitchers.
This group put in work over the last 6 weeks. Sunday was our final indoor winter workout as we transition back to the field. These ladies made gains in so many areas. Glove work, throwing, footwork, reaction, athleticism, strength, power, stamina, consistency with hitting mid 60s speed pitching. Now time to get grind on the field to prepare for our first tournament in March.

Excited to welcome Caidence to the Firecracker Fam. She has worked out and picked up with us the last few weeks and fit perfectly into our #FCCulture. She will step into the circle for us and boast a nasty curve. Caidence possesses a lot of athleticism and speed and we are looking forward to seeing her permanently in FC gear.

These ladies showed up and showed out this weekend. Just a few of the many highlight defensive plays, base running and hits from this weekends Elite Sports Southern Elite Summer Showcase. Thank you to all the college coaches that watched our team and talked with our head coach this weekend.
Solid start at the Elite Sports showcase in Valdosta, Ga. Talked with several college coaches and had multiple coaches watching our team play. Turned 4 double plays and Tied both games. As coaches we challenged our athletes to push the limits today, so we ran into a few outs going for 1st to 3rd, 2nd to home and 1st to home on plays we normally wouldn’t be quite that aggressive. But in showcase games that’s what it’s all about, go all out show you can be aggressive and a competitor. 1 more showcase game tomorrow and then bracket play kicks off at 9:30.
Through multiple scheduling changes and saturday rain outs these girls came Sunday ready to play in the PGF March Madness tournament. We went 2-2 on the day against some very solid competition. The 2 loses were a result of 1 bad inning in each game, we had the lead both times 5-1 and had an inning where nothing quite went in our favor. Overall proud of this group for battling and playing with a purpose. #justgettingstarted #softball #goldstandard #firedup
