Huge shoutout to Lucas for sticking with it. It was a long ride but Lucas has finally sworn into the Air Force and will be leaving with his dream job. He will be an Aircraft Loadmaster, traveling the world and ensuring our precious cargo get to where it needs to be! Lucas graduated from Bay Path in June 2022 and will be working on his associates, have free housing, insurance, food, and paid travel by June 2023.

First, congrats to Airman McElroy on graduating boot camp, graduating technical training AND getting married! Jacob is going to Alaska for his first duty station and is being handed the keys to this house once he arrives on base! Rent and utilities are all covered, all he has to do is keep that driveway clear of snow! Maybe he will spend some of his paycheck on snowblower to store in his 🔥heated garage🔥! The Air Force quality of life just hits different.

HUGE thank you to Aviation Welding Technologies in Uxbridge for the tour today! Dave and I connected through future Airman Cullen West. I learned that he ran an aviation welding company and wanted to learn more. We discussed the skill sets required for this line of work, and how well the skills learned from the Air Force transfer. With the right skill set you could earn over 80k a year working for Dave!

Fun fact, each one of those fabricated fuel components is worth upwards of $150,000!

Congrats to Amn Goddard finishing tech school and going to his first base. But he doesn’t stop there! Amn Goddard just passed his Tactical Response Force(TRF) combat physical test to qualify for an Elite security force team. Less than 40% who attempt this test pass. Help me congratulate Tim and wish him luck in the next stages of selection!

Congrats to Amn Hayes on graduating BMT! Now he is starting his training to become an Airborne communications apprentice. Because he will frequently be airborne, he has to complete the aircrew fundamentals or “Fundies” course first. This state of the art equipment simulates being at altitude, allowing for safe and very realistic training. Can’t wait to see what Amn Hayes does next!

Airmen and soldiers with the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa, took part in a French Desert Commando Course pre-assessment at 5th Overseas Interarms Regiment base, Djibouti.

The French pre-assessment includes a swim obstacle course, a five-mile run, knot tying and French weapons familiarization. Since 2015, the French Forces stationed in Djibouti have invited U.S. servicemembers to participate in the course.

Airman Update!
Airman First Class Michaela James has graduated BMT and will take her Aircrew Fundamentals assessment tomorrow! After that she starts her training to become an expert in aircraft communication systems. She is well on her way to becoming an Airborne Systems Operator!

This job has it all! You become an expert in cyber system operations while AIRBORNE! Michaela will get extra pay each month for being a flier. Can’t wait to see what amazing adventures she gets to have!
