I tried something new! I used my knitting machine to make some knitted bows, then added a Hello Kitty Patch and alligator clip to the back. So cute! They are in my booth at Wally's Castle - Vintage, Antique, Collectibles, Uniques.

I have been busy working on Halloween products for my crochet/knit booth this past week. There are a couple non halloween items too. Here is what I have brought in to sell.

Today I brought in three knitted Ghosts. These were done on my circular knitting machine and then sewn together. Stapler is shown in one picture to get a idea of size.

Forgot to post last week's creations. I made a ghost swing for a car rear view mirror. And a jack o lantern snake plant.

This week I had a custom order for 5 sharks. I was also able to make a giant spider, two smaller spiders, and another ghost on a swing since the first one sold so fast.

This has been weighing on my mind a bit and I just feel the need to bring awareness to it. I recently saw some crocheted items for sale on Temu and Aliexpress. So I wanted to let my customers and potential customers know the differences between knitted and crocheted item. Humans can hand knit or machine knit to make various items. Most of our clothing is machine knitted. Crochet however can only be done by hand. There is no machine out there that can replicate the crocheted stitch. You might find some clothing in stores that is labeled crochet, but if you look closely it is really knitted in a way that makes it look like crochet. To reiterate, crochet can ONLY be done by hand. So do what you will with the information, but I wanted to take a moment to educate you if you were not aware. I didn't know that until I did some digging and research of my own. Below are screen shots and those are crocheted not knitted and being sold in bulk.

Today I brought in my knit and crochet pumpkins for those ready to start fall decorating. I also brought in the cards I made with my mom on our retreat in July. There is special occasion cards, Halloween, Fall and Christmas Cards.

Of course I forgot to bring in my 4 new crocheted items. But I did fill up my booths with vhs (most are blank record able tapes), board games, trophies to repurpose, toys and video games and systems.

Went to Scrapaloo Retreat Center with my mom, aunt and their friends! Had a great extended weekends. Instead of crocheting all weekend I worked on greeting cards. I enjoy making them, and thinking up new designs. I managed to make 117 cards. I focused on Halloween, Fall and Winter/Christmas Cards. So I would have pretty ones to bring into sell at Wally's Castle - Vintage, Antique, Collectibles, Uniques .
