We weighed two yellowfin tuna on the fnal day. One weighed 48 lbs and the other 58 lbs. We were sitting in 3rd place when the last fish of the day weighed in at 60 lbs, bumping us down to 4th place overall in the tuna division. We were 7 lbs from finishing in 2nd place.

Next stop Kona, Hawaii, for the 4th July World Cup Blue Marlin Championship. Until then, tight lines.

Our biggest tune 26.6 lbs, not big but good enough for third place in the tuna division. Need a bigger fish today to
move up in the standings. Conditions look good. Lines in at 7:00.

Lines out. We are now in cell range and can report that we released one sailfish and caught four yellowfin tuna. We are headed to the scales to weigh the biggest tuna.

We are excited to start the new year off fishing in the 2021 Pelagic Rock Star Tournament, in Quepos, Costa Rica. We are fishing aboard the Double Nickel, captained by Will Froelich.

The two day tournament starts this Saturday. Lines in at 7:00am. The moon phase is perfect. The seas are calm. The temperature is in the mis 80’s. The bite is coming on. Stay tuned.

July 5th Kona Hawaii

Lines out for the day. No runs, No hits, No errors. That's fishing. Sometimes the fish just don't cooperate. Good news is there will be another chance tomorrow. Lines in at 7:00am Kona time. Until then, Aloha.

Lady Rebecca with the first fish weighed in this year‘s blue marlin World Cup. Coming in at 504.8 pounds. Fish was caught in Boat Harbor Bahamas.

Due to the Hawaii quarantine we are unable to fish the Blue Marlin World Cup and Kona Kickoff in person. We are virtual fishing on the Huntress today. Go get 'em Stymie.
