We lost power this morning, along with the surrounding area. We knew we had solar panels on the well house, but just confirmed that we have water when out of power. What a blessing 💧 🙏

Neighbor came up and we exchanged numbers. She came to let us know Casper broke the does out and were exploring the property. So much fencing to do, but good thing they respond like dogs 🙄🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

Coraline and Spotify are settled in. She is due mid October and we are so excited for the beginning of raising beef cows. The goal, since she is pregnant with Big Man Dave's calf, Spot will breed her back and if she has a heifer. He can breed her too. Any bulls born, will be raised for meat.

Ps...rumor has it, we may be getting a jersey calf too for Sahara Holguin

Oh Coraline, she might be a headache, but this amazing heifer has brought us so many amazing new friends that I will carry with me forever! Stay tuned for her new journey in Eastern WA and she is due to calf in October.

So yesterday we took all the kiddos and the farm ventured off to Mt Rainier for some hiking and exploring. Well I come home to find Miss Coraline also exploring. Well I was able to call her and she came right back.

Then p**f through another fence looking for greener grass or whatever she I looking for.....but she is gone.

We spent hours last night between us and the neighbors until it was just too dark to look. I'm pretty sure she is in overgrowth between me and my back neighbor, because I have been monitoring the roads and she has not crossed.

Anyways, we will be repairing fencing today, searching for Coraline, oh and I have homework due.

We never made an event for a work party for today, but if you're local and want to help hunt a cow and work on fencing, PLEASE everyone is welcome to come help all day. We will provide lunch!
