Hey June, I’ve been waiting for you! ☀️Who else is ready for the summer fun? Today, I’m kicking off the month with a trip to the bowling alley. What’s your favorite summer activity? 🌴

A simple smile can change the trajectory of someone’s day! You don’t have to say anything to make someone smile, just smile yourself first…a smile is so contagious!

I feel like I often go into a store when grocery shopping and have a one track mind to find what I am looking for, get in and get out, and don’t even think to smile at someone.

Taking an extra second to do that in the hustle and bustle of the day could be exactly what someone was needing that might have been having a bad day.

Give someone a smile today and see if you get one back! 😀

Here’s your chance to be creative today! Even if you don’t consider yourself a creative person, you can definitely find a way to be. 🎨 whether it’s painting a picture, taking a photo, writing a poem, decorating a cake… there’s so many ways to find creativity in life.

I find it personally through photography and editing. It’s a space where I can truly be myself and dive into an outlet that recharges me and also challenges me.

It’s so hard for me to say what type of session is my favorite kind to shoot, but something about the multiple family shoots I have coming up has me all giddy! I always tell myself “I’m not going to overshoot this time”… and then I end up having to go through 1800 photos. 😅 It’s always so worth it, but I just get over excited while shooting in the moment. 🤣 That’s one thing about booking with me — I’ll almost always deliver more photos than promised because I overshoot and can’t narrow down my favorites.

Mondays—love 'em or not so much? Personally, I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with them. Today, I’m going to dive right in to work so that I can take the rest of the week off. What’s on your to-do list today?

You won't believe it, but me and non-PJ, kinda-dressy clothes… we're like strangers passing in the night lately. Who would've thought, right? Surprising, even for a pro photographer. That's the beauty of the entrepreneurial journey! Embracing my authentic self, even if it means a temporary fashion hiatus. Wouldn't trade it for the world! 📸🌟

The beauty of entrepreneurship? I sometimes free up time to go on a walk in between my work. Sure enough, I devote most of my time to editing, answering emails, and building resources for my clients, but the liberty offered by owning my business ensures that my work days remain a creative canvas! 💼 What's the most inspiring part about your job?

What's your wish list this year? When you start wishing for a powerful blender or a minimalist coffee maker, you know you're adulting. Luckily, Santa brought mine early this year—must've stayed off the naughty list! What's high up on your list?

With all sessions edited and delivered, it's finally time to kick back. Now, we're gearing up for a cozy Christmas with family. How's your December unfolding? When December comes, I always feel like I’m juggling a million things: family time, a chaotic schedule, back-to-back party invitations, etc... So it's safe to say I'm feeling the holiday hustle. To carve out a quiet moment, I like to take a scenic drive to enjoy the festive lights. How about you? What's your secret for surviving the festive frenzy?
