The next thing you need to know is that for as long as I can remember I have suffered from poor sleeping habits and pattern. At night I was struggling to sleep more than a few hours at night and even that would be broken up into half hour and 15 minutes of partial sleep. I believe working as a police officer during the graveyard and swing shift hours fed into this problem and made it worse. I have not been able to shake it even after retiring from the police department.

I don’t believe I was a horrible mean person, but I know for sure I could be distant and difficult. My anxiety caused me to withdraw and avoid confrontation. I was sometimes in a fog and would over work to escape the mental pain I was in. I would keep busy and work 7 days a week 14 hours a day. It would eventually cost me my marriage. Now surely, there are other things that probably caused it to completely fall apart. However, my anxieties and avoidance behavior did not allow for the possibility of reconciliation.

In 2015 I was hit with the news I had cancer. Although it is prostate cancer and everyone tells you, “Oh that is a good one... you have nothing to worry about”... it is still cancer. And I wanted it out of me. I did not want to have to “live” with the cancer. I began a series of tests with Kaiser Permanente in Orange County to find out the extent of the cancer. The idea was to determine the severity and then determine a plan of action. My heightened PSA test of, caused my doctor to recommend a prostate biopsy. This biopsy would require the doctor to take a number of tissue clippings from my prostate using a tool that entered through my re**um.

This is where the story got interesting. My faith in my doctors and medical would be permanently damaged and cause me to take matters into my own hands. unbeknownst to me, and the doctor, somehow I was injured internally during the biopsy. I was released to go home and 2 days later I would discover that I had been bleeding internally. I had gone to the restroom and a firehose of blood came out of me like I had never seen before. I would rush to the ER and nearly bled to death. As a result I would have to have a transfusion and would be anemic for a period of time.

Unfortunately, it would happen a second a year and a half later they would do the exact same thing during the very same biopsy procedure. In spite of my concerns and reminders of what had happened before. They ignored my concerns and claimed the bleeding was not related to the biopsy. Only this time it was worse. There were additional mishaps and I finally realized that I had put too must trust in the hands of the medical industry. I truly had to fallow the advice of some others who have been through similar situations. Of course until now, I thought they were crazy. Especially those that claimed to be holistic medicine types and others.

As people in my world began to learn about my biopsy experience, I began to hear about CBD Oil. As most people, I quickly related it to “medical ma*****na” and thought it meant I had to get a medical ma*****na license, smoke pot or eat edibles and I would spend my day “high” all day eating pop tarts. But as I began to hear more about it and realized it was an actual oil that you drop into your mouth, my mind began to open up... bit by bit. And I would soon learn that it was not what I had thought.

I ordered a bottle and once it arrived I began taking 10 drops under my tongue once in the morning and 10 drops again in the evening before bed.

First of all, remember, the reason I chose to start taking CBD Oil is because I was trying to slow or reduce my prostate cancer and if possible eradicate from my body. So what happened next was completely shocking.

The first night following my first dosage of CBD Oil, I slept for 6 straight hours and woke more fresh and clear headed than I had been in years. Remember I did not take it for sleep. As I stated earlier, I have had a fairly physical and active life.
