Suspension overhaul for this 100k mile ‘94 EX. Bushings, ball joints and a 2” drop courtesy of springs and KYB AGX struts. Also took this time to do a hub conversion away from the captive brake rotors up front. Now rocking Acura CL hubs, with quality brake rotors. Reliability, smooth ride & solid suspension for this super clean low milage daily driver.

I really don’t like doing these rears but y’all asked for it 🙄. Here’s a set off of a 1999 Accord V6 Coupe made to match a set of RL calipers I did almost a year ago (4th slide). Message me for pricing! ✌🏾

Revival, restoration, upgrades and correction of this beloved Prelude. Swapped with a JDM H22A years ago and been surviving on bootleg smog checks, but can now finally go pass legal smog checks again. The JDM H got a full reconditioning, corrected and replaced parts that would allow the engine to run again like a stock Prelude H22A4. Everything from the ECU, oil pump, distributor & coil, bolts & brackets, wiring specifics, and even a thermostat housing had to be corrected! Along with a CARB legal header (just one ☝🏾) and intake tube.

also want to take this time to upgrade and maintain the suspension. With a combo of , , , and ST sway bars, nearly every part was replaced, and given attention. Even a new set of shoes!

This all was no easy feat. Took lots of time, patience and of course 💰. But this car means something to , and he’s just getting started. Thank you for your business! ✌🏾

This is most definitely one of the bigger more detailed projects I’ve done. Doesn’t surpass the infamous Pearl Coupe, but when it comes to effort, ex*****on and level of modification, it’s up there. David had a vision and trusted me with making it real.

You’re looking at a manual spec F20B swapped CD5 DX model with crank windows. David opted to keep the car automatic and upgrade to a L*D SiR transmission. To ensure proper cooling, I custom mounted an aluminum transmission cooler, and upgraded to a radiator. Suspension has been upgraded with bushing and an traction bar.

The visuals are what is key, however. Everything that has gone back under the hood has been painted, cleaned, powder coated or restored in some manor. Along with a full “wire tuck” including battery and fusebox relocation with the help of firewall plugs to cover the no longer use holes. The touches of polished surfaces combo nicely with the carbon fiber accents. And we can’t forget the last minute idea of David’s to add custom -16AN radiator hoses with super nickel sleeves. Big thanks to and for that! And I can’t forget to mention the center piece brand new OEM F20B/H23A valve cover. Nothing matches that blue!

And as always, the most detail is in what you cannot see. The engine has been fully reconditioned with all new seals, cleaned and detailed. Completely customized stock engine harness. Rerouted to engine the firewall via the heater core opening. A large amount of wiring under the dash has been reconfigured and appropriately secured, as well as the fuse box behind the glove box. This all the the most important and time consuming. Sorry, had to let y’all know since you can’t see it. 😏

If you want to see more, please check the story highlights labeled “Auto F20B L*D”.

27 Years old. 125k Miles. Very Clean. And VERY low. with his slammed 5spd converted CD5 EX in for some maintenance. Another low mile Accord getting new engine seals and basic maintenance to last for more years to come. Or at least until an engine swap 😏.

Photos from Werd Werx's post 08/22/2022

Another fine example of a low mile, well kept nearly 30 year old Accord. This one, a ‘94 EX with leather interior has 89,000 miles. In for some maintenance. Love it! Thanks for the business 🤙🏾.

08/15/2022

Last week: Some engine maintenance to this well kept stock (w/ 5lug conv.) ‘92 LX. 250k miles and still had the original lower spark plug tube seals, rear balance shaft seal (race track), and a cracked oil pan. The O-ring seals get rock hard and brittle after 30 years and oil slips right past them. We MUST maintain these engines correctly y’all! This car came in dumping oil, and left my shop oil leak free!

100k mile service for this ‘91 EX Wagon. Yes, I said 100k service, as it has only 94k miles in the chassis. Hard to find these old Accords with mileage this low! Lots of original parts still on this 31 year old family wagon. Timing belt, water pump, seals, axles, and some other preventive maintenance done. It was very well taken care of all of its life, Continue to take good care of it 👌🏾

Over 6 months since the last set of calipers. 🤯 Things certainly have slowed down since when I started customizing them nearly 7 years ago now. No worries, the service will still be available for all those who still need it. Message me for pricing! ✌🏾 Oh, and to the person(s) who feels they need to give us a reminder —we know these aren’t Brembos. Thank you. The customer gets what the customer requests. 😏

Shout out to for being patient, understanding, kind, and one hell of a client over all. This was a fun one for me. Because as a youngster in the Accord game back in 2007ish, I used to follow the original owner of this car .one via .official forums. *See the last photo.* I used to drool over the car and never thought I would end up working on it some day.

Today, it sits with full engine bay restoration including fresh paint and a fully restored chassis harness in the bay. ABS has been removed, and some fun goodies added including clutch components and a retrofitted shifter. Of course, the most important part of the project is the F20B paired with a T2T4 L*D transmission, provided by . Mounted in the engine bay using and a traction bar to help put power to the ground (and fit that long tube header). Topped all this off with Black ECU (P28 S300 v3).

The perfect balance of resto-mod. Upgrade, but doing it tastefully.

Missed the build process? Check the story highlights saved to my bio!

Here’s a nice complement to Jason’s F20B/T2T4 ‘92 Accord project. You’re looking at a RSX Billet Shifter retrofitted to this CB Accord chassis with the help of a bespoke kit from . The kit consists of a front mounting plate to adapt the KTuned shifter to the chassis, a sealing plate for the shift cables to travel through the body, a FFC version of the shift cable mounting bracket for H/F transmissions, and of course all the necessary hardware. Well done being so thorough, FFC 👌🏾🤌🏾. The installation was fun and easy. Hit up FatFourCustoms.com to order your kit! I can’t wait to install my own on Frankie 😉😏🤫.

Oh, hi ✌🏾

Don’t worry, Werd Werx is still here! 2021 was such a good year that I was over-loaded on work and made the decision to step back from social media to both — stop taking on more work, and focus on getting the jobs I have lined up already taken care of.

I’m looking forward to sharing the work I’ve been up to and the work I have to come. More Accords, more H/F Engines, more detailed projects, more !

I have a number of messages to sift through. I will get to everyone with responses soon enough. Thank you for your continued be patience! I hope to be able to help everyone!

Shout out to the worlds greatest girlfriend, for the most thoughtful gift(s). Saw these awesome miniature 3D printed engines from a few months ago and I showed it to her as she’s aware of my experience with the engine platform. I knew I would buy one of the H22 models eventually, but Donna insisted on buying me one right away. She was persistent to ask me what the website was to make the purchase but I refused to give it to her. 😜 Eventually she went out of her way to ask where to get the information, and Tay’s sneaky ass gave it up. 🙄 Anyway, not only did Donna surprise me with a red top H22 model, but somewhere along the line she got the idea to order ANOTHER. This time a custom H22 to resemble the one in my Accord, Frankie with my custom Werd Werx H22 valve cover. And I mean she nailed it. DBS Works managed to size the Werd Werx logo perfectly, add the carbon fiber spark plug cover AND the blue NGK Spark Plug wires. 🤯 Also, I must note the incredible detail on these little engines, and even the spark plug wire placement being correct for the engine’s firing order. YES, I checked. 🤓 So much detail!

Anyway, thank you to my amazing girl Donna, my awesome friend/employee Taylor, and DBS Works. One of the best gifts I could receive.

Engine Reconditioning: Not a rebuild — rather a fresh start for your old leaky engine. All (and I do mean all) seals are replaced. Coolant, oil, intake manifold, valve stem, cam, crank, and all other seals/gaskets. Meanwhile the engine is cleaned on the outside, and in most cases a full cylinder head service. Whether it’s this old F22A, or the H series variant with 60k(ish) going into your project car, engine Reconditioning is always highly recommend for preventative maintenance and peace of mind. 😌

Automatic transmission to manual 5 speed transmission complete on this 125k mile clean inside and out CD5. All direct bolt on parts with mild body modification and minimal wiring modifications make this a quick and easy job. Thanks to & for readily available parts. This car is definitely left here much more fun to drive than when it came in. ✌🏾

SEVENTEEN YEARS!? Said I to the owner of this time capsule, Rocky. Originally I though he said the car sat for seven years. As he picks up the car he corrects my ignorance and explains that this car hasn’t been driven since the early 2000’s 🤯. With only 120k miles on the ODO and after dealing with a completely decomposed rat carcass in the engine bay, this car has been revived back to a capable, and legal daily driver. Unfortunately (and fortunately) Rocky will be undoing the triple-projector headlights and massive fiberglass front bumper. The car will return to a stock appearance with a little extra pep in its step under the hood, and some gears to manually shift through. I’ve fitted it with a H22A1 / M2F4 5spd straight from a Prelude Si VTEC. ECU to match as well. After the facelift, it’s off to be reffed so he doesn’t have to worry about driving an illegally swapped cars I managed to get some photos of the old school mods done to the car before completely dismantled. Feel free to swipe through the photos.

It’s a real pleasure to revive these cars. I appreciate those who see the value is saving the old family vehicle rather than trashing it, mean while doing it nice without having to do it twice. On to the next ✌🏾

Thomas has owned this 29 year old Accord for 25 years. The only modifications done to the car in that time were stereo upgrades. Beyond that, it has been 100% stock for its life — until this week. And what better way to upgrade than with all Honda OEM parts. Added a 5-Lug conversion by way of RA1 knuckles, hub/bearings and brakes to the front. And a mixture of CB Accord, CG Accord and Prelude parts to complete the rear. Top it off with Acura TL wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sports, and you have the perfect way to complement this time capsule with a little extra stopping power. Ready for another 25 years!

Happy Birthday to me!! FINALLY able to bring this old boy out of hibernation. Last time I drove it was January 26th, 2020. A day some of us will never forget. 💜💛 Today is my 34th Birthday, and what better way to enjoy being able to drive my pride and joy around again on this day? Not after a few updates of the weekend of course... This car has never had a problem firing up and doing its job to get me around. But after sitting, the old polyurethane mounts from Explicit Speed Performance disintegrated 👎🏾. But I finally ditched them and went with (see comparison photos). Also a nice addition was my polished shift k**b from . First mods to this ole boy in years!! Looking forward to bringing him out on the 18th with . See y’all there! Now leave me alone while I go drive this thing! 🙃

Here it is! Complete, for now. This project has been over a year planning, and had a loooooong list of parts and modifications. Shout out to David for being so patient and sticking with the time it took to getting to this project and getting done. Unfortunately we didn’t get to do the exhaust upgrades we wanted but that will be next on the list for sure! Quick recap: H22A Euro-R + T2W4 Trans. (Auto to 5spd Conversion) completely reconditioned, featuring and parts. Bolted down with engine mounts. Engine management with the help of and S2000 CMC retrofit from . TL-S upgrade on the front, as well as complete front and rear suspension overhaul with OEM parts, and as well. And finally a last minute ABS delete to clean up the engine bay. Happy to build a high level OEM+ project for the Prelude community. Looking forward to more!

Celebrating 6 years of calipers, I’m throwing back to some unique caliper color choices as well as custom logos. I’ve lost count at how many caliper sets I’ve sold over the last 6 years, but it’s somewhere between 150 and 200 I’m sure 🤷🏾‍♂️. Some have been pretty standard colors and styles, but these 10 I’ve selected definitely stand out in the crowd, in no particular order. Lately I find most of my order just being the same as what I’ve already done. Same colors, same logos… and that’s ok. But I miss the variety and creativity in the orders. Remember, you can put what every logo you want on the faces of these calipers, as long as it fits. And you have thousands of colors to choose from the catalog. Feel free to get crazy, and different. And thank you to the hundreds who’ve ordered caliper sets from me. I appreciate your support! All of this was never supposed to happen 6 years ago, but it did so let’s see how long we can keep this going! Message me for pricing. ✌🏾
