Even though I’m counting down the days to the end of snake season, I wouldn’t trade this life for anything else. Rattlesnakes deserve the same rights as all the other wild critters we love. I will fight for those rights every day💜 if you want to donate to my cause, below are some options!

There’s a storm a-comin’!! Rattlesnakes and all the critters desperately need this water. Be mindful around your homes as water collects, and critters come to drink! Call me if you need a rattlesnake relocated ( # on main page).

Hi, my name is Danielle, and I’m a rattlesnake wrangler. I save snakes for free because they deserve a chance to live. Relocate+educate, don’t terminate!

It’s fairly rare I get the chance to freehandle a Mojave rattlesnake. They are NOT aggressive; however, they tend to be hyper defensive towards predators…like humans (obviously, they want to live!).

Epic location chosen by ! I’m holding my favorite rattlesnake, Worf💜🖖

*freehandling rattlesnakes can result in serious injury or death*

07/22/2022

I rescued Worf exactly 2 years ago. He’s a southern pacific rattlesnake that was found in a residential area of Morongo Valley, not normally where this species is found. He’s unpredictable and I love him so much.

Shot by ! Thanks for getting me in front of a camera again! Fun times all around.

New boots gifted to me by one of my favorite humans 💜 rattlesnake approved!! Relocating rattlesnakes for free, 5 years running…one pair of boots at a time.

*free handling rattlesnakes can result in serious injury or death. I don’t encourage anyone to pick up wild rattlesnakes. The snakes you see me hold have been removed from private property.*

When asked for a photo mid-snake capture with a Mojave rattlesnake, I deliver! I looked back at my photos from year one of self-taught snake wrangling, and holy guacamole, how far I’ve come! REMEMBER! NO rattlesnake is tame. Holding a rattlesnake, even with tools, can be risky if you don’t know what you’re doing. Rattlesnakes will not attack you, but could bite when we get too close (whether on purpose or not).

06/11/2022

As I’m pulling up to my house from my last snake call, I see my partner () walking back in with snake tongs in his hand. He says, “don’t worry, I caught it!” So proud of my man 😍 I had my catching bins, and he even managed to contain the rattlesnake in one of my display containers (which he hand-made). Swooooooooooooon.

05/26/2022

**note-I would not be doing this if I weren’t wearing 12”tall leather boots.

Here I’m demonstrating how a fearful Mojave rattlesnake is simply nervous around me. He was removed from a back patio and struck multiple times IN FEAR FOR HIS LIFE, not out of aggression. I placed the Mojave near a bush, and instead of going into the bush, he came back towards me. As you can see, even while rattling, this snake is not coming towards me to bite me. He’s curious and nervous about what’s happening. He checked me out and off he went into a bush. Rattlesnakes are not aggressive. I don’t care what crazy stories you’ve heard…rattlesnakes will not chase you. Just because you ran…doesn’t mean you were chased.

I mean really…imagine an enormous giant picked you up. You would be kicking, screaming, biting, and thrashing to get away…you wouldn’t chase it. Are you angry or are you scared in this moment? Rattlesnakes aren’t mean…they’re terrified.

Handling rattlesnakes can result in injury or death. Remember, it’s not the snake’s fault we get too close, whether accidentally or not.

I’m new boot goofin’!! Thanks to for giving me my signature look back. First snake call with them, and it ends up being these two beefy boys! What luck!!!

A beautiful day to save some rattlesnakes! If you find a rattlesnake on your property, do not panic! It will not chase you or attack!

*freehandling rattlesnakes may result in serious injury or death*

Remember, I relocate rattlesnakes. I don’t touch wild rattlesnakes minding their own life.

A beautiful day to save some rattlesnakes!

*freehandling rattlesnakes may result in serious injury or death*

I post photos like these, not to encourage folks to pick up wild rattlesnakes, but to bring awareness that these aren’t aggressive creatures. Rattlesnakes defend themselves because they think you’re going to kill them. Relatable, right? All of the snakes you’ll see posted here are removed from private properties. Save the snakes 💜

A beautiful specimen of a rattlesnake! First large speckled rattlesnake relocation of the year for a Pioneertown resident! A rattlesnake this large is eating well, which is doing US a favor!

Well y’all. I’m back sooner than I’d hoped! The snakes are coming out slowly but surely, and it’s that time to check your surroundings even more intensely! Take the few minutes to scan your yard for snakes before letting kids and dogs outside. Never put your hands where you can’t see what’s there, and wear close-toed shoes as often as you can! Be vigilant! I could go on and on. It’s not the snake’s fault we get careless and end up too close. We have chosen to live here and need to respect the land and wildlife. Rattlesnakes are NOT aggressive, but will defend themselves when predators (ie you, your dog, your kid, etc) get too close.

If you have animals 100% outside, consider learning how to secure the snake yourself! I will teach you!

Friendly reminder, every snake you see me hold is from a request to move it. I don’t pick up rattlesnakes that are freely in nature, not around people. Y’all don’t see the other 90% of snakes I move, because most are too scared for me to put them through a photo shoot or video.

24/7, donation-based snake relocation for Yucca Valley, Landers, Joshua Tree, Johnson Valley, Morongo Valley, Pioneertown, and Rimrock. Text or call 7076964691.

And lastly-don’t attack me for helping people and snakes (or my choice to handle them). I’m not relocating these rattlesnakes to your homes. If you have different methods, I don’t need to hear about it with malicious intent. I’m trying to help where I can🙄 be kind. It’s free.

REMINDER!! Do NOT message my personal profile for urgent snake help. I have it as boldly as I can on my page, but I miss snake messages every year. I can barely keep up with social media, and I rarely open my personal page DMs. TEXT OR CALL 7076964691!!

Sidewinder Sunday! This fella found himself trapped in an old septic tank. Luckily, my ridiculously long snake tongs come in handy every so often! The hole was secured so nothing else would drop 6 feet down.

As always, handling rattlesnakes can cause serious injury or death. Consult your local laws before attempting rattlesnake rescue.

SURPRISE! My first public appearance in over a year! Come join me and all the rad ladies! I won’t be selling anything, but I will have live rattlesnakes and even some non venomous snakes to hold! Bring your kids!! This hermit is coming out for snake season! Spread the word 🙂

Happy 41st to this motorcycle fixin’, animal lovin’, cow wranglin’, sweet man. I love our adventures and craziness we get into. I love this man! It’s been an honor spending the last 4 birthdays with you. Many more to come 💜

Rattlesnake #3 of 2022! No, they’re not “out” yet! A few outliers here and there. Rattlesnakes generally return to the surface once the daily temperatures are above 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Always be watchful for hidden dangers (that do not seek to hurt you 😉)!

Day by day, less frequent snake calls! Check out this impressive (and full-bellied) sidewinder caught on a Lander’s property. It’s still warm enough for rattlesnake activity. Keep an eye out, always! They will not attack, but could defend themselves when we get too close.

Still snake season, y’all!

The snake calls have been slowing down, but I had three calls today! Stay vigilant always 🙂 rattlesnakes are just looking for water, food, and shelter! They will not attack, but they’ll defend themselves when you get too close. You’ve heard me say that a million times, but, there’s a million and one 🤪

My cuddly little angels 💜 they use each other as pillows. If that’s not the dang cutest, I don’t know what to tell you all!

Mojave Mondays. Remember, rattlesnakes are not aggressive. They are defensive when they feel they’re in danger. If you fought off someone trying to touch/grab you, you’re being defensive, not aggressive. Give them space, and always pay attention to your surroundings.

Update: owner found. However, he will be staying with me 💜

FOUND sulcata tortoise in Yucca Valley between Balsa and Hanford, Onaga and Taos. Must provide photo evidence that he/she is yours. I will likely keep him/her after the stray hold if not claimed, but send me a DM if you’re interested in possibly adopting him/her. I’ll only be responding to comments on leads or the possible owner.

Saturday morning rattlesnake rescue! This Mojave rattlesnake found himself too beefy to pass through 1” chicken wire. I have confidence that he will be just fine! The chicken wire will be removed from the property 🙂

Got to relocate this beautiful gopher snake from inside a kitchen, back into nature! Remember, all snakes are “good” snakes, not just the nonvenomous ones. Normally, I would urge leaving the gopher snakes alone (if not inside your house); however, in a densely populated area with paved roads for miles around, this buddy is better off without the risk of being run over.

Photos from Danielle Wall's post 09/12/2021

No one has to agree with my methods of snake handling, but no one also has to be rude about it. Be kind, it’s free 😉💜 at the end of the day, these snakes get a chance to survive in nature where they deserve to live. Opinions (always wrong) about snakes needing to die because of the threat they can pose, will always baffle me. Know what kills more people a year than snakes in the US? Well, pretty much everything from cars, to obesity, to COWS. Fear and ignorance are no excuse for not respecting wildlife. Let’s face it, we pose more of a danger to ourselves than these snakes do. Just use your brain, folks. These snakes don’t attack people. Leave them be and call a professional.

I. Love. Rattlesnakes. They deserve to live and people need to be more compassionate and less selfish. It’s not our planet…and let’s face it, we’ve screwed it all up. Let’s continue growing our knowledge of misunderstood creatures, so we can stop their senseless deaths. This speckled was relocated from a front porch, back into nature.

On a personal note…I don’t care if you don’t like my poses or outfits, many do and my message gets sent even farther. That’s the point…don’t senselessly kill native creatures. Be kind…it’s free. Remember, speak to others how you wish to be spoken. It’s really that simple and easy.

*free-handling rattlesnakes could result in serious injury or death. Do not handle rattlesnakes unless you’re prepared to handle possible consequences*.
