Applying gold luster to a ton of mugs for my collab with @houseofharlow1960 for @etsy ! These mugs have already been fired to cone 5 (meaning they are glazed and could function as working mugs at this stage), but the gold luster requires a third trip into the kiln! I hand paint each vertical stripe with this luster and then fire the mug to a relatively low temperature…and then they are glammed up and ready to sparkle 💫 #zzieeceramics #houseofharlow1960creatorcollab #etsy #goldluster

Process. I will have some of these exact mugs added to my shop tomorrow at 12pm PST! In other news, my kiln failed last night because the power cable melted inside the control box. Fun!
