Although we spent the weekend beaching and sleeping, somehow I squeezed in this little wall refresh at Tamara's Cafe. You can’t visit Apalach without a stop at this Forgotten Coast classic. Their pressed tin ceiling is worth the trip in itself, and the fried oyster salad with jalapeño tarter is all I want to eat this summer! 🥗🥗🥗

We're taking some time this weekend to share with you how your donations are meeting immediate needs in the Virgin Islands. One of the fantastic organizations on the front line for our community is St John Rescue.

They provide emergency rescue and medical support services to EMS, VI Police, and VI Fire, National Park Service, United States Coast Guard, VITEMA, FEMA, and health clinic personnel on St. John.

If you are in need of life-saving emergency response on St. John, this is who will show up to save you. Period. This organization is essential to the community of the Virgin Islands, and the safety of our residents and visitors alike.

They operate through the generosity of our community, as all St. John Rescue members are volunteers. There are many ways you can continue to help provide quality emergency and support services to the island of St John; become a member, volunteer time and expertise, donate equipment, or make a monetary donation.
