When it’s October and it’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the week when we also celebrated World Mental Health Day and International Day of the Girl, then who best to speak at Y-TEENS VI bi-monthly session but Family Resource Center (FRC) amazing staff persons Director Anya Stuart and Mrs.Anne Martinez.
Such an engaging and interactive session on Girls mental health, Domestic Violence awareness and self-care and peer leadership in spreading the word about positive relationships and advocacy.

A great celebration of all these high points with a mix and mingle with goodies at the end!
Great community partnership saying NO to Domestic Violence and yes to Girls Vision for the future as mental health and wellness advocates!

At Y-TEENS VI Inc, we are excited as we observe International Day of the Girl this week.
October 11th is a day when we annually highlight the challanges faced by Girls around the world, promoting their empowerment, education and rights.
This day also served as a reminder of the need to address gender inequalities, discrimination, and violence against Girls and to create a brighter future for them.
The theme for this years observation is “Girls vision for the future.”

It's Domestic Violence Awareness Month. "Heal, Hold, and Center" The theme this year emphasizes the importance of healing from violence, providing support and holding space for survivors, and centering the experiences of those most affected by Domestic Violence in all efforts to address and prevent it. TeamFRC encourages individuals to not only be aware of the issue of Domestic Violence but also to take active steps towards preventing and stopping domestic violence, fostering a community of support and intervention. Remember, FRC's goal is to empower you to make your own decisions and to help you find a path to safety and recovery. Hi all,
We (Y-Teens VI INC.) are in search of 2 adults/young adults/University students who know how to Code or generally tech and computer savy and available after school hours (3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. TU -TH) to help with a youth after school coding program kicking off in a few weeks!
We have the curriculum and instructor who will do orientation and ‘light training’.
